And Hordes too....I guess.
Any of you do any converting? Last issue of No Quarter had three articles on converting so there's no excuses.
Here's my "counts as Syntherion" I made for a league I entered this week.
This is Forge Master Lucidia. (A passing mention in the CoC book.)
I used a Steel Soul Protector torso and head and used the plastic Syntherion because I didn't feel like pinning. Yes, I will be basing it in the near future.
So, show off yours.
And if you don't have any, make some!

My conversion skills are subpar, but I had the following done to my Avatar.
Extended the sword, swapped his potty dance legs for plastic crusader legs, and wider arms.

I have moved stormwall's legs to galleon and given stormwall strider legs. Stormwall also has a posture change and leveled cannons.

Yep. I used one of the Incubi models and bent the knees and feet into position. I pinned the Afflictor tail into the back and its completely balanced so it looks like the Afflictor is flying without anything to support it. I really enjoy the model, but some hills tend to give it some issues lol.

No, but thats only a guideline if TOs need a hard line to draw. They're perfectly inclined to allow stuff by their own judgement.

apologies for the horrendous lighting.
I've got Pin Up Sorscha. Converted from a corvus belli caledonian volunteer. Frostfangs head is from the original metal sorscha, and its shaft is from 2 kroot rifle barrels.
Great Bears: stock models, with GW bestigor axes.
Beast(au) 09. Stock model, with Vlad2s shoulder pads, and some crisis suit thighs for upper arms/legs, and tau flamers for beasts lower legs.
Epic Irusk. stock model, with Space Marine scout arms, sword swapped to right arm, classic irusk head, pistol is converted from a kroot rifle.
Doom Reaver(ettes). converted from sister repentia models. 2 squads of these beauties.
Doom Reavers converted to have bare heads. chaos marauders supplied the bits.
Doom Reavers converted to have axes. chaos bestigors supplied the bits.
Converted Bokur and Wardog. Bokur is the Legion ogryn model, with bokur shield, witch siren sword as a trophy in the left arm, spriggan head, and an uhlan tail for his pony tail (not really seen)
Femris (female fenris). stock model. (yes, its a legal conversion!) with daughter of the flame midriff and tharn bloodtracker upper body.

Great conversions! I'm loving all the different Doom Reavers (I am SO tempted to steal the "Sisters Repentia" idea!). If you'd described the Beast 09 conversion without showing me pictures I would have refused to believe it wouldn't look crap, but actually seeing it I think it works really well!

pVlad made from eVlad's body and pvlad's arms and shoulderpads (cape is from a random Leonidas mini). Reposed Zerkova. Head is from Rasputina from Malifaux. Reposed Vlad3. No extra bits. All from the stock kit. Extremoth! Beast 09 reposed to resemble the artwork. Karchev with Behemoth's legs (donated after Big B got his chassis upgrade) Syntherion with an extra set of arms Axis with a head swap. Steelsoul Protector converted from IK Tomb Maiden. Gallant with some extra bling. Rocinante with some extra bits and made from a metal Nomad. Junker Hulk. I run this as a Marshaled Freebooter in Blindwater. White Walker pAlexia. That's all I have pics of. got a few more reposes/conversions I need to take pics of.

Let me start off by saying this.... I always have and I always will, Love Orcs. So don't hate me for this but here is my Hordes: Orc Force (Trollbloods).
I really like the way trollbloods look for the most part but honestly I just cant get over their heads.
So When I decided to make these orcs I really wanted a more "Warcraft-y" Orc, I also really love the ramshackle style of Games Workshop orcs and decided to use some of their bits and pieces. The heads are mostly from a company called spellcrow.
All models (Save bomber) are based off of the correct PP sculpts. Just with head swaps and weapon swaps and such. I touched up the crew since these pics were taken & Cleaned up my painting a lot.
So I guess I present to yall my Orc Army! The Bloodspitter Clan

Thanks. He's actually been painted at this point, but I'm not a huge fan of how the robes turned out. Probably going to steal him back and repaint him at some point.
