Hey everyone,

So, for some reason, my ebay address didn't get updated to my new address. I recently bought some Orks on Ebay and the package got sent to the wrong address. I had mail forwarding, but I'm guessing it expired or the PO wasn't paying attention.

The old location is pretty close to where I live, so what can I do?

1. Have the PO retrieve it somehow
2. Hope they return it?
3. Go to the old address and see if anyone has it?

If they don't accept the package ,then it will return to sender.
If they do, then only option is to go to them, and ask to return yours precious little plastic soldiers.

Your registered Ebay address is not importent. What is your PayPal address? If that is correct, and you paid via PayPal, you can raise an 'item not received' case. Ebay and PayPal T&C's state that the seller must send to the address shown on the PayPal invoice, not the Ebay one.

As a seller, I've had this happen to me, which is why I ignore the Ebay page 'Order Details' and only send to the address shown on the Paypal emal.

Yeah, Paypal is where your address gets screwed up. Even worse, it seems sometimes that old addresses NEVER go away -- I moved over a year ago and yesterday I paid for something with Paypal and it still defaulted to my old address that I've deleted multiple times.

Either way, your best option is easily #3. Just knock on the door, be polite, and ask if there was a package delivered there for you. Odds are they'll know exactly what you're talking about and either hand it to you or tell you they sent it back.

I've had something delivered 10 houses away, due to the postie reading the label wrong.
They opened it, found some odd-looking metal men, and only then read the label themselves.
They dropped it 'round a few days later.

So, option 3 is probably the best, as even if they don't have it, they'll know what to do the next time.
