Since it's not for a competitive environment, people's opinions on what to take to a friendly game don't hold much weight to your own opinion. Large games are very chaotic and are often not finished due to them taking a long time to complete.
There's nothing wrong with what you've taken. It seems pretty
TAC all your units looks pretty standard. There's too many factors in a large point game to really give you solid advice or suggestions.
Why does something have to be tournament ready to be considered competitive. We are not playing just a simple kill point wannabe Apocalypse game.
I don't get it, this overwhelming need to have something be ultra competitive. What is wrong with simply just talking about lists? I have 4000 points to work with, with pretty much everything Grey Knights and Imperial Fists can offer.
How would you build out a large list like that?
I have Draigo and the
GK librarian joining the Grav Centurions, the Fist Librarian sticking close to the Las Centurions and Lysander joining the Terminators in the Spartan.
Draigo can port the Centurions around, and the Drop Pods can help out the shunting Dreadknights. The only static unit is the Las Centurions, and only question mark is how soon my Ravens hit the table.
My opponent is bringing unbound Blood Angels, because the new Angel dex kind of hosed the lists he used to run.
