Hey guys I am not 100% sure the guy I just played had a legitimate 1,000pt army so I put it up to anyone who knows Sisters of battle to tell me. I have a rough guess at what units he had so lets just see

Warlord
Uriah Jacobs. I think he is about 100 points
Saint Celestine. i believe she is closer to 135
standard priest (what he called it, had nothing special but had acts of faith)

two 10 man sisters of battle squads each had 1 Heavy Flamer, 1 regular flamer and a combi flamer

Ecclesiarchy Battle Conclave

3 Death Cult assassins
4ish flagellants
3 crusaders
And another priest of some sort (probably standard priest)

Fast attack:
10 man Seraphim squad with two chicks with double flame pistols

Vehicles:
2 Immolators (One with the multi meltas and the other with HF)
1 exorcist
1 Forge world Repressor

He very likely had extra stuff I cant remember but ohh well

You didn't happen to miscommunicate and play 1000pts in a 1250 game, did you? That's what his list adds up to.

Always play with codex and any supplement codex/rules (as I see there is FW stuff in that army) for all armies present. That way if you think your opponent has too much or too little or wants to check a rule or something you can ask to confirm.

No one will hate you for wanting to confirm something that is in the codex unless they know they are already cheating - although never broach the subject as if the other part is telling lies deliberately.

We were trying to squeeze in one last game before the shop closed up. It was supposed to be 1k points but maybe your right and he misheard or thought 1250. I play orks and I brought

Warboss with Eavy Armor lucky stick
Painboy
30 man boy squad with Nob BP/PK (no special weapons)
10 man Ard boy squad with Nob BP/PK eavy armor (No special weapons)
10 lootas
trukk
Morkanaut KFF and Grot oilers.


Turn 1 the lootas killed a immolator, the mork and trukk with boyz/Warboss got closer to enemy lines and my 30 man boyz squad with Painboy attached ran straight forward.
Turn 2 after taking some heavy dmg I killed Saint Celestine in close combat, but the b***** gets to come back :-P and then I was flamed for 35% of my squad, failed morale and ran backwards with the boyz.
Warboss and 11 ard boyz (counting nob) jumped out and assaulted a Sister squad that had a Multi melta, a couple of plasma shots and an absolute ton of sisters, (in hind sight more then 10 in that squad, probably closer to 15-20) with Jacobs attached and another priest. Overwatch almost killed all the boyz
Lootas popped the other immolator and morky killed the Forge world tank (None of his vehicles did anything the entire game except the Exorcist in the back)

Turn three Exorcist kills Morky with a Penetrating hit and rolled a 5....damn
Warboss and Nob only ones left alive in their squad and continue to wreak havoc.
30 Man boyz squad reduced to 6 assaults the seraphim squad and almost kills it before Saint comes and kills them all off, Lootas get killed in the following turn by celestine.)

And thats when I called it because I had my Warlord and a Nob and not much else :-P

Might just be he grabbed the wrong list if he's got several on a sheet - or did one up from memory quick.

yeah, thats what probably happened, he is a good guy, I doubt he would cheat me like that on purpose.

On a positive note though, that was my 6th game ever played and while it was a loss, i was outnumbered a bit :-P and my Morkanaut yet again distinguished himself. I am going to have to get him a name and a backstory of some sort In my 6 games he has been in every single one of them and every single time he REAPS souls for Mork or possibly Gork.

Game 1 He killed a tac squad and a terminator squad solo
Game 2 he took out 2 10 man chosen chaos marine squads single handed and shot down a Chaos Flying Chicken
Game 3: killed off Abaddon and a 11 man terminator squad in two rounds of shooting and close combat
Game 4 again reaped the souls of a tactical squad, killed a demolisher and finished off a wounded Tactical squad
Game 5 did nothing but destroy chaos infantry for the entire 3 turn game (we ended it early because of time constraints)
and then Game 6 he popped the enemy tank and killed a bunch of sisters with his Kustom Mega Kannon before being killed

Also we did a "WHO WOULD WIN" Scenario with Morky vs 3 Penitent engines at 36 inch range, no cover....It was a very one sided affair

That's still accusing the guy of cheating or at least messing up pretty hugely. Better to ask for a glance over the units you're unfamiliar with and do a quick bit of mental math, and only then say "Hey I think this is overpointed a little?"

A little update for this post. I went back yesterday to the shop and talked to the guy and he said that he accidentally used his 1250 army point list. So it all worked out, and my poor orkies don't feel to bad about losing a battle outnumbered 5 to 4.

Also we played a large game of 2150 points and I am proud to say in true orky fashion that a lot of stuff blew up, a lot of humies got ripped apart by nobz with power klaws and the best part? Ghazkuul himself killed two HQs and a vehicle without suffering a single wound!

Good, good. An opponent who admits to screwing up sounds like a guy to continue playing.

And as long as this opponent manages to bring the correct lists for the game you will find SoB a good hard fight for orks. They'll struggle with MANZ but few others can make 30-ork squads vaporize as fast. Never ever get ambushed by Seraphim with two double handflamer girls. Ghaz will not be happy with anyone who returns from that debacle. ;-)

In the bigger battle he used the formation to bring two seraphim squads with double flame pistols and they get the ability to reroll failed wounds. Luckily for me he attacked two squads that had attached pain boyz so they did very few casualties. And then on the following orky turn, We killed both squads in one turn Lootas and boyz squads messed them up. He also attacked my morkanaut with two exorcists and 3 Penitent engines. Morky won :-) granted Ghazkuul helped by taking out his exorcists and chasing the other rear line guys away :-)
