I believe it's MEANT to be like, leather wrapped around her forearm, and then a metal band, or a scroll, wrapped around it.

In the end it just looks pretty crappy, and would be better if it was just another piece of the green/gold armor.

It's actually the Ultramarine forgeworld dreadnought, not an ironclad

Looking at it that makes sense as to the tyranid head on the shingaurd. Also just subscribed to your blog. good stuff there.

Is it by any chance a separate bit? I would assume no, but PP seems bad about giving you a million little pieces to make a single metal guy.

Agreed, although Dante's toutorial about different skin colours/washes was on par with Lbursley's DA marine .

Bah, your dread is currently a complete failure! According to GW's old "three points of color" rule, you need to put some of that blue paint on the shin where the `Nid head is. This creates three points of the striking color that will draw your eye across the fig, rather than just causing you to focus in on one point, which in this case is the banner.

Given the recent evy metal teams work on beastmen, I dont exactly want to be taking painting tips from those guys

I kid because I love.

And the shin plate is a war badge, and I want that to be gold, matching the rest of the extra features on the dreadnought.

And who says there wont be a dread tyranid with a blue carapce on the model's base?

I don't think I've ever followed that rule either really. It just popped into my head for some reason when someone else commented on the blue, and I figured I hadn't mocked you recently and was due for it.

Mongoose are nolonger doing a call to arms. I just sold all of my last fleet the Minbari.
