I bought these two years ago but only just got round to painting them, that's how it goes sometimes

I really like them so I'll be getting some other stuff to add to them in the near future. Others don't seem so enamoured with them yet judging from the responses so far. Give them time...

From the left, two drones who are going to have gas masks and piping (basically 'dark' version of my other little drones), next the Black Alchemist/Alkemist they will accompany, a BP trooper, Vampire commander and the Imagifier.

Some initial ideas here.

On the left house Tokugawa. Really like their wide trousers, the crossed armour body piece and the rounded helmet. These would be nice clean shiny plastic colours, red, blue and white maybe.

Middle the shadowy Crowmantia. Annoyingly this reminds me of GW's Tanith so I'll need to redesign. I want a basic trooper with some kind of cloak and poor looking ragged clothing. Black scraggly hair and gaunt faces are the 'look', wonder if I could go for a south American look for them though and mix the haunted goth look with bowl cut hair and maybe facial piercings.

Right, the warrior race. Very early stages. I'm imagining an army of riddicks if they'd killed a predator and boba fett then cobbled together their armour to survive as merceneries bent on revenge.

Sketches for ships. Lots of fluff to post at some point, these need to look very scrappy with lots of thin long supports like ropes on a sailing ship. #Applied phelbtonium alert#
The big engines/engine on the side are super conductor magnets that spin when a magnetic dampener is turned off, different polarities so they spin the opposite direction (outer ring one way and the inner ring the other, so and and so on) then an electric charge is fired into them and you get a gravity induced 'hyper drive'. Still only about 2/10 the speed of light though. Only...

The long supports are to distribute the 'shake' from this gravity drive. The big wing shaped thing over it is to distribute some of the more extreme gravity effects away from the ship, at the same time this creates a natural shield in a way: anything fired at this side of the ship is basically diverted away into space.

Newer ships used by the empire (now a placeholder name) are like submarines in space. The older ships given to house Tokugawa are the square blocky ones with he big wing over the gravity drive. For now, first ideas only.

He is big, about the size of my demon lord kit. Here is a little work, not much time. Head far from done yet, head crest will have lots of offshoot spines on side and be very thorn like. the contrast on these pics is kind of strange. But I think it's getting the point acrost.

I got the dress on, I added the fringes on the top of the legs, where the under-slip of the dress is exposed around the bottom of the chest plate.

The dress is going to be very foldy and rich like any great victorian era ballgown. But she's wearing the armor over it.





I started mapping out the main shapes on the dress, and I finished the chest armor. THat head is way to big. I kind of knew that awhile ago, but was practicing anyway. the surface seems really shinny, I think that's why it seems so uneven. If it's in less intense light, and not covered in lubricant, she looks a lot smoother. Anyway.
