I done nuffin Guv'nor...

Dont want the BF posse after me!

To be fair, its their manufacturer forum, so its up to them how they want to act on it really. Their house, their rules so to speak. Which is fair enough at the end of the day.

BF's forums aren't great and they're terrible at giving release information or answering a straight question. The rules section is good though, I always get good mileage there. Any chance of a link? Searching is one of the many features that BF's forums lack.

I think I've previously posted my woes about their worse than useless UK distribution. The forum is the only reliable method of sorting the problems I've had.

It's not just you. It's really sad to be truthful, the forum is there to promote BF and they are too stupid to work out a somebody is pi##ing people off.

They probably wonder why other forums spring up like this one

Dakka has been around a lot longer than the BF forums. Evan has given me good answers to questions on more than one occasion, but to be fair, I haven't frequented the BF forums in several years so I don't really know how things are now.

What I'm assuming is the thread in question based on the OP for those on the BF forums:

http://www.flamesofwar.com/Default.aspx?tabid=126&aff=127&aft=567380&afv=topic

Not sure I see where the quoted post of Evan's is particularly rude or awful when the original post asked:

Does the rail car in NachtJager come with a pair of 'separated' 88's or are they 'twin-ned (?)' ala Flak tower twin 128mm's?

Seems like a straight asked-and-answered using the terms established by the asker. Are you sure you're not reading something into it? Or is this more the straw on the proverbial camel's back?

That said, I've found the forums here and at WWPD far more useful for actual information. Not sure who runs BF's web presence, but overall it's an area in which they could see and use some vast improvement.

Likewise, there's just nothing that could cause any offense at all in that answer.

I have a few others not that one from over the years. Steven did do a good job on the forums.
The copy paste job was just a example.

An example of a straight answer to a straight question. I still can't see any possible cause for offense in it.

Straight answer to a straight question is a bit of a rarity. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned how terrible the forum software is.
