To start things off I really do think we're in a golden age of miniature wargames, I mean compared to when I was in college or when I really started gaming in 2000 the options are just mind-blowing.

Despite its problems, GW is still pumping out some incredible kits.

Reaper's Bones line is dirt cheap and good, and about to get a few 100 more models in a few months.

I'm still here looking at a pile of WFG and Dreamforge models waiting for me to build.

The new Warzone line looks SWEET and it's an act of will not to get into it.

And there are more Kickstarters and new games than I can even keep track of.

But where would we be if we were happy with just this Man was not mean to be happy!

So what do you hope to see in 2015?

My wish list:

Sci-Fi cannon fodder - A plastic kit of troops with light armor, basic weapons, and tons of guys. Something like these poor doomed guys

The WGF Red army box can do the trick but I would love an updated take on the old RT grey guard.

Near future insurgents/rebels/terrorists/freedom fighters - A plastic kit that can make a rag-tag armed band, whether they're bandits, terrorists, jihadis, rioters, protestors or whatever. Even modern middle east/Afghanistan insurgents would be welcome.

Modern/near future NATO/First World troops - I'd prefer something near future but moderns would be fine. Ideally something with mutiple heads so they can be heroic defenders or sinister oppressors depending on the game.

Cops - A plastic kit with beat cops, riot cops, SWAT teams etc. Please?

Gothic future civilians/gangers/henchmen - I've had this kit on my wishlist for over 10 years now. If GW won't make it maybe someone can?

I can keep going but I think any one of these is something we might hold out hope for...

And off course the new Dreamforge stuff.

Interested in Imperial assault and armada, will probably add some infinity miniatures to my collection.

Waiting for some dark age miniatures i have ordered and other miscellaneous stuff and waiting for the
rest of the Raging heroes kickstarter stuff.

My wish list is as follows:

In line with End Times, I'm hoping that they release some Orcs and Gobbos stuff, whether it's Black Orc Boar Boyz or something like a giant idol of Gork. Hell even if it's just an excuse to update either the normal Goblin kit or the Orc Boyz so they come base with options for bows.

For 40K it'd be great if they either revamped the cadian/catachan kits to a more diverse and expansive kit that actually covers their options or the introduction of a greatcoat line of IG like Armaggedon Steel Legion.

For Orks I just want them to finally release a damn new warbuggy kit.

CSM should honestly get revisited when it comes to the main CSM kit. Make it a dual kit with Havocs and release a separate Chosen kit.

Other than that it's updating some of the really ancient character models in the range like Abbadon, Mephiston, Ragnar and Drahzar.

Starship troopers game to come back in some way (pipedream) since I have a ton of their minis laying around

Rank and file lightly armored sci fi troops kits are always cool. Even though I have more sci fi infantry than I know what to do with in a whole bunch of random systems, the addiction lingers. Something along the lines of the necromundian spiders from the old days, the Starship troopers MI movie guys, Alien Colonial marines, and/or the old metal cadians would be cool.

I would love to see epic 40k come back as well. I would seriously consider buying back into it at that point (after trying the game of course) I'd love 15mm minis but to be honest I'd be cool with anything between 6 and 15mm scale.

If GW released actual plastic kits of some of the other regiments of IG, I'd be tempted to get a box to paint, but I doubt I'd buy back in to 40k. Would be cool to have a few for painting though.

Uhhhhh, other than that, more plastic historical minis in smaller scales would be cool. PSC is supposedly releasing a lot of really cool stuff this year for WWII that would cool to see and allow me to make some really weird armies that I've always wanted, but we'll see how that goes.

New Sisters of Battle, and I don't even play the army, I'd just like to see their players happy...and maybe trade my Chaos and Blood Angels to get a massive force of ladies. ^-^

As a friend of mine brought up the interest, that I and several other furries have in table top games, a conversion kit of some sort to make certain 40k and Warhammer armies furry.

If they ever did it, I know I'd end up buying it but a Forgotten Realms or Golarion based Warhammer styled battle game. (I.E. Nation vs. Nation rather then 4-5 man band rpgs and skirmish battles.)

not trying to be faceous, but I'm REALLY hoping to see the Wave 2 mecha for RRT. I've been waiting to get my hands on some decent super & armored Valks, a Monster and female power armor.

Beyond that, Clone Wars era Star Wars star fighters would be lovely and if someone would pick up the Star Blazers IP and make a starship combat game for that universe (with about a 5 to 7-inch long Yamato in plastic), that'd be great.

More Italians for WW2, especially Eastern Front or fighting in Italy itself. Most manufacturers do them for North Africa, which generally arent suitable for either of their other two main fronts. More "minor" nations minis would be nice as well. Less focus on German kit from everyone would be good as well, they weren't the ONLY Axis nation, even if thats how most people treat them.

Generic passengers, drivers and gunners for the WW2 nations would be good as well, I hate having vehicles motoring around as if they were Herbie with a 50 cal.

Also, if people are going to do 28mm/1:56 scale tanks in plastic, I'd like them to be priced in such a way that there is an actual point in buying them over resin. At the moment the few plastic kits you can get are priced so that the saving is negligible for the inconvienience of having to build the damn thing.

Oh and Orcs. More orcs. You can NEVER have enough Orcs.

More hard plastic from PP. Some resculpts of older stuff from PP and Freebooter minis.

Looking forward/dreading seeing what comes from the next Rivet Wars kickstarter.

Have been waiting a while to see Tre Manor's newest KS stuff too.

I'd love all the main characters from the Blood of Nagash books - before the Ed Times changes: so Neferata, Abhorash, Namia etc oh and a Ulrika models as well and Genevieve - see a theme here?

A Plastic Mechanicum army would be great.

Some new Devourers for my Confrontation army would be sweet - giant werewolves in full plate armour is always kick ass.

Models of Amberely Vail (Artificer armour and Lounge singer)- we now have a Cain so needs his favourite Inquisitor..............

and of course a nice new range of Sisters of Battle to enlarge my army with (but still in keeping with originals)

Plastic Keeper of Secrets in the same vain as the new large WHFB kits (Nagash etc).

For some reason though GW seem reluctant to give Slaanesh any love so doubt it will happen...

And although I don't play Eldar I think they deserve a new plastic Avatar along the same lines.

I know FW produce both of those so that's another reason they probably won't happen, but if we're wishlisting either of those in plastic might encourage me to start a new army.

Oh yeah... and Sisters in plastic.... feels like I'm trolling the thread saying that, lol.

I'd love to see a near-future sci-fi version of the WGF Zombie Survivors sprue. Something with the parts to make armed or unarmed models, and maybe even some alien parts. Combined with the existing modern set, it would be so trivially easy to do Firefly-themed minis I doubt I could resist. Also useful for Deadzone, Infinity, and dozens of other games.

And then a Gothic/Grimdark version of the same, for 40k/Inq28/Necromunda.

I'd love to see new, multi-part plastic Sisters of Battle kits - I'd buy a good 50-60 of them just to have extreme fun with assembling, painting and putting some of them on my minis shelf.

CSM kit should be renewed at last, as well as it would be great to see for example plastic Cult Marines - because both of Zerkers and Plagues are just... ancient, and Noises are still in a form of crappy upgrade pack.

I'd like Warlord to add to their WW2 Japanese range as it's a bit lacking in some areas. Plastic Japanese tanks from the companies doing tanks in 28mm would be cool.

A good WW2 Chinese range and a proper BA army book for them would be nice.

Also a game based on The Thing. One of my fave IPs and rife for exploiting some paranoia mechanics.

-Thunder Warriors
- A Space Marine Chapter Master box akin to the Captain box.
- Custodes
- Sanguinius, Emperor, Leman Russ, Rogal Dorn

Any of those would probably be the only things I would drop money for on day one. Otherwise I'm in store for a year of piecemeal paint-before-you-buy-more collecting.
