Hey there you guys! Recently joined my local gaming club and have started playing 40k again after five years' hiatus or so. Needless to say, things have changed a little since last I played...

Anyways; Playing a 1750pt game on monday against a Tau player, and this is the list I've thrown together. At the end I'll list the other minis I have available right now - I'd love to hear your thoughts as to tactics and/or if I should sub/resructure any of the units I have in my collection.

The Trukks will be assigned to the Meganobz and the Tankbustas. This list is actually 1752pts, so I might have to drop a Bomb Squig.




In terms of other available models, I have:

1 x Warboss on foot (Probably twin shoota and big choppa, not ideal)

I'm hoping this list gives me enough fast stuff to tie up his big guns, and the infantry numbers to survived his remaining gunlines with enough greenskins left to engage forcefully. Some of the unit sizes are suboptimal, I know - lookin' at you, Stormboyz - but that's unfortunately just the reality of what I have available. Might pick up some more in the future! The main downside here is that I can't use the Ork Detatchment rules in the Codex with only 2 troops choices. I could split them up, but that means more easily broken mobs. My plan is to get a big Grot Mob to use as a meatscreen at some point which will solve the issue!
