Twin-Linked on the HYMP plus your ECPA VT Burstide will cover flyers.
Spot on. I learned the hard way that you'd rather get a twin-linked snapshot off then gamble that your skyfire will still be standing when the turn's over. Sound advice.
I'll also second the missile pods for the Commander. You want him as far away from the action as possible, keeping your Warlord and marker source out of range of as much trouble as possible.
The Fusion Crisis Suits could make due with only 1 or 2 Target Locks. The first suit can pick his target normally, the other two pick theirs with the target locks. I usually double down two suits on the primary armor threat so I get by with one Target Lock pretty well, but 2 gives you more flexibility.
I would love to know how the Stealth Suits work for you. I haven't used mine much, but recently one friend at my
FLGS was playing them in an interesting fashion. He would load them with Counterfire Defense Systems and deep strike them in to run defense for more valuable units retreating form a melee threat. At times he re-rolled passed reserves rolls with his comms relay, in hopes to fail the re-roll and keep them off the table until the other player committed the assault unit to a target. The assaulter would then have to charge the Stealth Suits and take CDS overwatch plus Supporting Fire, or maneuver around them and take a longer charge at the intended target. Both times his opponent chose the second option, still taking supporting fire, and both times the Stealth Team killed just enough models so they failed their (now longer) charge.
Happy Hunting!
