ok so im thinking a small game with a friend for warhammer fantasy, i like brettonia but i prefer to have more men at arms and peasant archers, but my cavalry is super elite. any help would be appreciated.

20 men at arms
20 men at arms
10 peasant bowmen
10 peasant bowmen
8 knights of the realm

my units will have banner,musician and whatever
so is this good against a high elves army with a lot of spearmen

Well as you may know brets Calvary is sub par due to being ancient. I would recommend 1/2 things.

Combine both pesant units for forty men at arms, and drop all command except on knights and the block as the archers need bodies and not upgrades (except braziers).

Or drop the men at arms compleatly and take 2 units of 30 bowmen with musicians, any points left can upgrade yours paladin with toys.

Lastly consider dropping your paladin for a damsel for some magic, brets need all the advantages they can get.

I would agree on combing the maa's into a single massed unit as well as adding a damsel.

bret knights are not horrible but our rules are old,so we do need all the magic help we can get via weapons,armour,shields,damsels ect,

Also remember bretonnians must take a bsb so you will need a second paladin
