hey huys! im completely new here and generelly in warhammer 40k.

ive started putting together an eldar force and i was wondering whick army combinatios are viable right now, so as i can plan what models to buy. i REALLY liked the wraith theme but the aspect warriors looked great too.
can sb make a quick army list for me, say 1000pts, as a starting point? id really appreciate it.

id prefer a wraith/ Iyanden themed army but if the army is garbage or not viable then go ahead and leave a list that will be good.
keep in mind that you dont have to be veryspecific, in only just now looking to pick the models ill need to buy.

First and Formosa buy what you like, if your new you can play a net list and still get stomped, if you play all Iyanden you can still be vunrable to poison. What do your friends play? Do you want psyker star with deamon summoning? At 1500!points I won a league with 2 squad dire avengers in serpants, wraith guard with d sythes in a serpaant, 6 warp spiders, 6 swooping Hawks a wraith knight 3 jet bikes and a farseer. Iam looking at this for the next one

I'm building an iyanden army (shameless plug, check out my blog: "40k and fitness" in the P&M blog section) and if you put a Wraithknight in your list with a couple serpents the general consensus is that you will win most games if you are tactically adept.
