Agreed. And with the color-blocking instead of of shading, it gives off an interesting stained glass feel. Was that intentional?

I like it I just feel the highlighting draws my eyes away from free hand. Like my eyes don't knowmwhere to look cause it's black and then colors that pop. Mind you I could never come close to it. The free hand is good.

I agree with Mr Oddity that the blocking gives a stained glass effect, which works really well.

Well the real life story was it was a present from girlfriend. So I decided to show my appreciation and paint it in a way she would like. Didn't intend on the stained glass look. I ard coated all the armor plates to get them to stand out from the dull metal look
