Independent Characters is a great one, but they're planning on cancelling soon. They release something every two weeks iirc, and I think they release small videos on the side.

Preferred Enemies also releases episodes about every two weeks (at least as of late they seem to), but that's partly a result of the rapid release schedule of 40k products.

Those are the two main ones I listen to, but I also listen to the Screaming Heretics and Forge the Narrative (though I'm not sure exactly how often those two release episodes).

ATTENTION
. Psychic tests are unfluffy. Your longing for AV is understandable but misguided. Your chapter doesn't need a separate codex. Doctrines should go away. Being a "troop" means nothing. This has been a cranky service announcement. You may now resume your regularly scheduled arguing.

The Independent Characters are a very professional, enjoyable podcast with well put together episodes and a goal of making you feel like you're part of their game group. It's excellent, and I'm sad to see it going - fortunately there's well over 100 episode to listen to! I'd start with one of their Show of Force episodes to get a feel for what the show's all about; starting with episode 1 or whatever is a little rough while they're still feeling things out.

I have listed to:

Life after the cover save - I seem to remember erratic release schedule which prompted me to drop it.

40K radio - Boring to me

Overloads - I also think this one had issues with a consistent release schedule.

Frontlinegaming - Releases twice a week and covers new releases. The podcast seems to be less and less about opinions on what is going on in the 40K environment and more and more about "this is all the new stuff you can buy".

I LOVE the Overlords. The content is always okay to good, but the banter and jingles are so fun! Definitely my favorite podcast.

Also, The Independent Characters is on it's way out. Suck.

I like WargamingForFun podcasts, but they're for fantasy. Apart from that, I like ones like MWG Jay's Painting With Jay, always good for painting.

I dont know if you guys are familiar with them, but

Hitting on 3's

seems to be ok, they seem knowledgeable about the 40k scene and they both play 30k as well which is a big interest to me

The ICs were my favorite, and it's sad to see them go. They're episode catalogue is still well worth listening to, because so much of it is hobby related and so is still fresh even with edition changes.

Overlords is my #2.

Both of them got me to regularly listen because the main themes really seem to be how to have fun in the hobby, and how they're enjoying it.
