We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Feels like a next gen, AAA, fully interactive, open world, batmobile, action adventure title with RPG elements to me...
or an Angry Birds clone, I can't be sure. My spidey sense is not working.

"By this point I'm convinced 100% that every single race in the 40k universe have somehow tapped into the ork ability to just have their tech work because they think it should."
It's probably a clone of one of their previous games - Catapult King, not Angry Birds.
I'd still pick Besieged over either of these games, though. 3D Angry Birds isn't a bad idea for an indie game, but the one where you build your own death machines is almost certainly better than the plain old turret shooter.

"When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."

Sorry, yeah, I think you are. A few years back, it could have been an okay gimmicky little game derivative of the many basically the same games of the "chuck things" genre.
With Angry Birds taking the chucking things genre and turning it into an industry, it's pretty obvious that GW's just attempting to jump on a re-skinned bandwagon.
We find comfort among those who agree with us - growth among those who don't. - Frank Howard Clark

The correct statement of individual rights is that everyone has the right to an opinion, but crucially, that opinion can be roundly ignored and even made fun of, particularly if it is demonstrably nonsense!” Professor Brian Cox
Oh, I have no doubt it'll be a reskin of some kind, motivated by the need to tack on a little more money for the shareholders.
But you're throwing snotlings. If they take the right attitude about it - set it up as a sporting event, orcs on the sidelines guffawing to each other, goblins selling squig-onna-stick in the crowd, dazed snotlings trying to crawl back to the drops before the next one bounces off of them - it could be a fun, cheap little game. Good classic Warhammer greenskin humor.
Can't wait for the Trolls in the Pantry or Oi! that's me Leg! Apps...
Heck, maybe Boltthrower'll even show up on iTunes!

They could make a 40k version and change it to Squat toss.... NVM
Now, we like big books. (And we cannot lie. You other readers can’t deny, a book flops open with an itty-bitty font, and a map that’s in your face, you get—sorry! Sorry!)
Why haven't they renewed Relic's 40K game license?

Creative Assembly also belongs to SEGA, and they received the Warhammer Fantasy license and are possibly going to make a sick real time fantasy strategy game.
