It would appear that the new Bloodthirster is getting free rules for 40K ( my guess from the picture is that's the assembly instructions? )

Pretty nice from GW if so, I was kind of expecting a codex with 2 pages of rules already. Anybody got any details on the rules?

Free rules! When you pay £70...

The newer Tyranid models had rules in the instructions like that too, as has most of the End Times stuff I think.

I'm just wondering what this means for the rumoured new Khorne -Codex ( which I would've expected to include these rules. ) And hey, look at Imperial Knights.

The assembly instructions for many kits come with the basic stat line and nothing else - so don't get your hopes up until we see it.

Yeah, infact now that I think of it, judging by the photo it's possible the missing part of the page isn't enough to fit the rules of all the 3 different variants in there so it might just be the statlines.

It's been confirmed in the N+R thread that the three variants all have the same 40K rules, and they're no different from the Codex, the differences only apply in WHFB as of yet.

Probably a slam dunk that there'll be some changes in the new Codex when it rolls around though.

proably. my guess is they'll give Bloodthirsters some various wargear options.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

Here's hoping, I'd be pretty disappointed if it just used the existing rules ( because they aren't too competent, because 40K. ) But yeah, I consider it more likely than not aswell that the there's something new around the corner rules-wise.

As someone that runs a bloodthirstier as the figurehead of a mono Khorne army I’m really hopping for something useful.

Maybe I can run him as Ang’grath in 3600 point games.

For a model that size (and cost) a modest stat boost would be nice.

They're releasing a khorne codex? That seems unnecessary

They probably aren't, but I'd welcome one.

It's been fairly well supported as a rumour - but we're talking supplement rather than full blown codex AFAIK.
