April 18, 2015 Update

We have 3 days left on our Kickstarter and we unlocked our first Stretch Goal opening up the Repeating Crossbow, Shieldbearers, and alternate poses for the Archers and Crossbowmen. We are getting close to unlocking the next Stretch Goal which is going to be the Undead - reanimated corpses of fallen warriors and civilians who died building the Great Wall.

Over the past few days we also opened up some new Add-on items for purchase. The Drunken Master and Swordmaster and we also had a backer purchase the highest pledge enabling him to have a miniature sculpted based on his design. Well, with the concept art approved we decided to offer that hero as an Add-on. You can check out all the action on the Kickstarter and jump in while the water is warm.

No force would not be complete without the myriad of war machines and support options that make fielding armies unique. Adding a variety of support choices can turn your standard army into a potent offensive force or a immovable solid stone wall. The army support options maintain a more historical feel to the army and may be included in both historical and fantasy games.

Looks great! Although price is my biggest concern, I would definitely be interested in the possibility of backing.

Looks really nice! Are you guys aware of the unofficial warhammer army book: Cathay?
It is more or less an well made army book for china in WHFB. I might back this and if I would it would be top play this army.
One cool things would be riders riding those Fu dogs. I like the fantasy part in dragon, Fu dogs and terracotta soliders. The others are not that intressting. But having a lot of units in the Cathay army book would be good for business I think.

Some of it looks pretty good. I'd be more interested in individualized heroes, such as those in Heaven Sword, Dragon Sabre.

But definitely the fangshi and foo dogs have captured my interest. And I think I'll be keeping an eye on the long, too.

Hello everyone. Thanks for the feedback and comments. We are trying to do everything in our power to keep the costs down and we are considering our options for pricing on the Kickstarter. I think you will be happy with our pricing as we are trying to stay competitive with the rest of the industry even though we have no in-house production.

I am aware of the fan based Cathay book and there are a lot of products in our range that could be used for that book. Based on the success of our launch we are planning on bringing out more armies and eventually a rulebook of our own so our product list will focus on our future rules.

Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre is about 1400 years beyond our scope at the moment but the fantasy stuff has a broader appeal because it can work for many different time periods. We are excited to start sculpting the fantasy range but we have a few loose ends to tie up before we do that.

Thanks again everyone and hope to see you on our Kickstarter March 23.

Hello everyone and good morning. With 3 days before our Kickstarter launch we would like to have your input regarding the presentation of our Kickstarter. Please feel free to follow the link and take a look. You are able to post comments directly on the Kickstarter so please be constructive and we will take every comment seriously. We may not be able to accommodate every wish but we will try our best. Finally, please keep in mind that you are not seeing the final presentation as we are waiting on some last minute additions for the cavalry sculpts and new concept art. Please enjoy looking at our range and let's have some fun with this project.

I didn't see a section that explains shipping. Are shipping charges additional? If so, what will you be charging by region?

As of right now we have it set at a flat rate shipping cost of $7 worldwide. We didn't want to make the shipping costs prohibitive but needed to charge something so we could keep the costs down on the miniatures themselves. No hidden costs in our Kickstarter.

You are going to find yourself spending $40 to ship a few pounds to Australia, so I'd double check your shipping costs.

I would definitely read up on the Secret Weapon Tablescape Kickstarter before you go ahead and offer flat rate or no cost shipping. I would suggest flat rate for backers in the domestic USA (if that is where you are shipping from) and an actual cost shipping to anywhere else. People should realistically expect a shipping cost.

Yeah, I think you need to think through the shipping a bit more before it kills your business. And when you have a set policy, please mention it in every pledge level description so there is no potential for confusion and hurt feelings later.

I hope those shipping costs work out for you. I honestly worry about that.

With that said, I wish you luck, and plunked down for at least a general and hopefully I can add a few more heroes later on.

My wife has put an axe to any more armies in our house, whether they be of historical relevance or not.

"But dear! I'm trying to teach the kids HISTORY!" just isn't working this time around.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

We are willing to eat some of the shipping to make sure people get the toys they want. I have shipped internationally before and I do understand that shipments to Asia and Australia will cost a few extra dollars but that is something we are willing to front to get the product in the market place.

The rest of your comments made me laugh and cry because I know exactly what you mean.

Are the stone lions 4 for $40? How big are they?

Yes, that is correct. They are going to be pretty big. Probably fit on a 40mm or 50mm base. We want them to be pretty impressive. We are going to be posting Half-Packs in the Add-on section probably by the end of the week. So you will be able to buy just the 'alive' Fu Dogs if you want.

The first two miniatures painted for my new product range. Kickstarter is live if you want in on the action.

It would easier to follow the changes if you also include them in your bump posts. I have no idea what changed in the OP.

We have 3 more hours until the end of the Kickstarter. We are getting very close to unlocking the undead and with your help we can get there. Thanks
