Anyone know or care to guess at what the big Cryx thing is? Character 'jack maybe?

At first I thought a new Battle Engine but looking at the bulletin points there's no mention of Battle Engines.

Any thoughts?

The big Cryx thing is Denny's mount, that means that Denny 3 will be a battle engine Warcaster.

I look forward to the day when a Mercenary Privateer Cephalyx Gunmage Battle Engine Cavalry Warcaster Unit is released. Really, anything with 6-8 Keywords in their description.

No, its not going to be Haley...

There are 2 warcasters who are Majors.

Haley and Brisbane.

And Katherine Laddermore is also a Major.

But PP didn't say that it was a Major character, they said that is was a major character, meaning someone important, not the military rank, or did I miss something?

Besides, Haley 3 is coming out in Reckoning, I doubt that they would introduce a third version and kill her in the same book.

At the end of NQ59 there is a puzzle:

"Might Matt DiPietro be willing to paint M____ P____ V_______ H____ for 'Modeling and Painting'?"

M____ P____ V_______ H____ -> Major Prime Victoria Haley, i.e. Haley 3.



It is an emphasis on major, but it could mean both meanings of the word like you said, or it could be a "prank" like the Simpsons did, for example, implying that major is actually minor. I kind of think that it is the second because if they really wanted to do the word play they would have capitalized the word. Or it could just be wishful thinking on my part because all Majors in the game belong to Cygnar and Cygnar is my main faction.

That still isn't evidence of Haley3. It might be evidence that she's getting a promotion. Maybe a Posthumous one, or a retirement promotion.

It is known that the PP guys have a sick twisted sense of humor in regards to releases and spoilers.

Or they kill her off for her to be resurrected by you know who!

Well, yeah, but a posthumous or retirement promotion would make more sense in her military rank, not in her arcane rank, since those and especially the prime rank is only given under very strict conditions.

I pray they emphasized major as a hint that it's a character they focus on more than others.

That was Stryker's fault, though.

Your fluff is full of Mary Sue "best of the best" individuals/technology.

Your caster lineup has the most S tier casters, and you have several warcasters who have spells they just should not have.

Well, the best of the best technology mantle has just been stolen from us by Cyriss, as for the Mary Sue fluff, its the only way that we can survive the amount of abuse that PP throws our way! If it wasn't for that Cygnar would be a broken ruin divided between Menoth, Skorne and Khador by now!

As for S tier casters, c'mon! Gaspy2, Haley2, Harby, Morv2, Denny1, Denny2 and Saeryn are the current crop of S tier casters. Cryx still holds the title of most number of abused casters in the game by a mile!

Saeryn is not a S tier Warlock, all the best Warcasters from the original 4 Warmachine factions run ruff shod over her.

As far as who is going to die I'm guessing its going to be Siege.
