So I've been thinking about redoing my Chaos army from the ground up, and I came across the faction and saw all the werewolves and well...I need to know, do they fit well on CSMs? Mostly the wolf heads. (They seem to be lacking tails though...werewolves NEED tails. >.>;...)
I know the big guys look to be Daemon Prince sized like this fellow:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hordes-Circle-Orboros-Warpborn-Alpha-72075-/400687870032?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5d4adbb050 (In fact I'm specifically looking for that guy's arms, hands, head and axe...maybe even the legs too.)
Just need to know from people that actually play if they'll work for that, or if I'm barking up the wrong tree.

That's a 40mm base. They're smaller than daemon princes. Likely terminator size, maybe in between the two.
here is a picture of them in front of what is about the size of a standard playing card.
Warpborn aren't werewolves. They're more skinchangers. You want warpWOLVES.

Warp wolves do have tails. You're looking at Skinwalkers.
And no those guys are not daemon prince sized. They're on 40mm bases but they're not close to the size of a daemon prince. You'd want a warp wolf kit for that.

If you you are going to look at deamon prince size wolves and you looking for the one wielding an ax there is always the Ghetorix upgrade kit. Ghetorix is a character warpwolf so the upgrade kit is meant to combined with a normal kit. The upgrade kit just has the ax, the hands and the head of the model. I don't if that is what you are looking for but it is an option maybe. To be clear the upgrade kit is not a complete model.

I saw those, and thought the heads might fit standard CSMs, but they might be a bit too big.

If you want wolf heads check out the space wolf grey hunters front row on the left.
IIRC each sprue comes with 1 or 2 of those and you may have luck with bits dealers.
The one you linked is the Alphas basically a sergeant for the ones I linked, same size and everything. Check out the warpwolves for a better Daemon Prince sized head.
Also while not WM/H you should look at Mierce-miniatures.com (Right now it looks like their site is down, ) but I heard they have a were wolfish faction & their models are amazeballs.

Got'cha, okay. The Space Wolf helm might have to do for the rank and file and just find some old plastic dire wolf tails or something.
Also what kind of sparked this was I actually got some bitz of those Warp Wolves in a trade before I even knew what they were:
Specifically the arms of the guy on the top left and the one on the right's head.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/HORDES-Circle-Orboros-PIP72057-Pureblood-Feral-Stalker-Warpwolf-Kit-NEW-/191542861258?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c98d81dca
But no hands, or weapons.
I do think I'm in love with that Ghetorix model. So the upgrade is just the axe and head?

Hands / arms pieces, axe, and head.
It's an upgrade kit so it contains everything needed to turn a regular warpolf into Ghetorix.

Also, make sure to check Privateer Press' online store, you may be able to bitz order a lot of the parts you need (one of the few companies that makes it easy to order individual model parts).
