So after not really having much interest in 40k for a few years i was dragged back in by a friend a few mths ago and in the space of a few weeks collected a 3000pt ork army . But great as orks are i still had a itch for some character driven figures and as a fan of the original inquisitor game i was aware of the amazing work done by people o here for inq28 games and how the whole modelling and painting aspect of it is realy put to the fore .

So last week i started rakeing through my bits box for inspiration from about a 1000 ideas and about 20 started builds I've come upwith these 4 to start off with . I want to do at least 2 warbands one dark one light .

I also wanted a non comatant specialist type but wanted it to look like he had been picked up along the way somewhere rather than being a acolyte or a servitor . So here's spc hassel and his trusty cyber hound milo .

Think it's safe to say you've got this down! Inq-style conversion/kitbashes can be a hard thing to get right from the off, but it looks like you have hit the nail on the head with these (especially the Inq himself).

Subbed!

Thanks guys tanhoffer is based on the space marine Liberian from dark vengeance with a arm and leg swop .sword and arcatech pistol from the forge world preator set . And empire troop arms.

#675-5 is a hasselfree barbarian with a dark eldar helmet and the snake hair off the dark elf madusa model (these are going to be painted up metallic) and his axe arm is gore father from angron.

Specialist hassel's body is from one of the special characters that came with sedition wars (i think this may be the only one i will ever actually use from that black hole of disappointment) and milo is a malifaux dog with the head of the cyber mastif from the old necromunda arbites and a spine sculpted on .

Moreita has the legs from the dark eldar witch special character ( cant remember her name ) body and left arm are from the cauldron of blood set.

Not sure on the colour pallet yet as i want to avoid the same old red/black/gold motif and i want to tie it in with the space marine im building and i dont know what chapter he is yet ...im sure he will tell me when he's built . Next up is a tec magos and his support/honor guard .so you can guess what im pre ordering tomorrow lol

Some great stuff, I got the sedition wars game as well, never thought of using bits out of it. The game itself was so complicated me and a friend tried it once and I have never brought it out since.
