Subject: If your favorite tabletop games were classic Saturday morning cartoons...
Which ones would they be and why? For the purposes of this thread, I'll limit classic to pre-2000 cartoons. For instance, I'd say 40k would be transformers. Its been around a long time with tons of reboots yet it largely stays the same with only some tweaked superficial changes. Folks who got in at the beginning (g1/rogue trader) swear it is the best but newer fans just see dated mediocre visuals in that early stuff and don't understand what the fuss is about. The most recent reboot has cranked up the flash to 11 but at the cost of it's real substance.

Yes, and Robotech would be Robotech. I forgot to put in that disclaimer when there was an official cartoon! As for Battletech, I'd put it in as Dragonball Z. Overly complicated fights between funny looking combatants that have tons of detail bogging the action down leading to multiepisode fights where nothing actually happens till the final scene/roll.

I get that... so did Robotech. The joke/point was to pair it with a game that matches its style/flair for various reasons, not the most literal translation to moving pictures.

I want to see a G.I. Joe tabletop game. That or He- Man.
At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.
