I think I'm posting too frequently, I'll try to limit myself to 1 per day. The picture isn't great. We've been working on it for a few days. We're planning on putting resin to fill the river. But here
Anyone have any suggestions?

Looking great man! What terrain/area of the war are you trying to create? To me it looks like eastern europe.

I'm sort of embarrassed to say I don't quite know where it is supposed to be. Eastern Europe or like maybe north asia/russia?

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Looks very promising!

I think that could pose equally well as the steppes of northern Asia, plains of Eastern Europe or even Finland/Russia.

Easy way to do rivers is just paint thre desired colour on the bottom,so green, brown or blue whatever you want and then layer on coats of clear varnish. The more coats of varnish the deeper the effect becomes.

Very easy method to do and looks fantastic

I have just finished a river on a Normandy board using that method and it worked a treat

Ok so, UPDATE!

The river is in we had a ton of trouble with the resin. It melted straight through the board in a few places, and we may have added too much color but in the end it turned out, for the most part, OK. (For some reason the picture makes it look like only half of the river is blue, it all is.) This is the first board we have ever done since our old flat green piece of wood so we'll forgive ourselves for mistakes

Hi Chasecapener,

I am going to be living out in Salt Lake City this summer by university of utah campus and I am looking for a group to play flames of war with!

Do you know of a flames of war group that meets on a weekly basis I could get games in with?

Thanks!
Cory
