Ok, so I'm entering in a pretty friendly local tournament. The Idea is that there will be random teams of 2. Each player will have 500 points.
So my list is:
HQ:
Wierdboy
Troops:
10 Boys, Trukk, 1 Big shoota
10 Boys, Trukk, 1 Big shoota
Fast A:
Dakka Jet, extra Shoota
Blitza Bomba
So Basically the Trukks will give support on the ground and tie up anything that needs it and the planes will take out blobs of things like Warriors.
So please give any advice. Thanks in advance.

If you don't enjoy playing against people with unpainted armies, break into their house when they sleep, paint their figures for them, help yourself to their cheerios and then your problems will be solved.
Well, my opponents usually don't have more than 1-2 Wave Serpents 'cos Serpent spam is very expensive in real life money.
GENERATION 11: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

Ork fliers are not very good at low point values. Instead, follow the ork mantra of Boyz before Toyz. At 500 points you can take plenty of units to try and swamp your opponent. I mean, 30 boys with painboy and Bosspole is 235 points. 30 orks chugging along with FnP. I dislike slogging, but could work well. At least you'd also be bringing cover for your team mate.

Nurgle Predator Driver with an Infestation





Ditch anything that flies for lootas. Tons of firepower at 48" range.

Trade off weird boy for a big mek with a SAG. Rokkits on trukks and bosspoles on nobs.

Try this...

Big Mek - SAG, Ammo Runt x2
11 Boys -10 Shootas, Big Shoota, Nob - Boss Pole Trukk - Rokkit, Ram
10 Boys -10 Shootas, Big Shoota, Nob - Boss Pole Trukk - Rokkit, Ram
11 Lootas (potential for 33 strength 7 ap4 shots)(also good against flyers, rhinos/rzb,...)
Total 500

Remember trukks are fast. Flat out with them to get behind or in cover. Place lootas and Big Mek in Cover too.

Thanks this is great. To be honest I only wanted to take the bomba because I just made one but i'll ditch it.
