Looks strong. You can really feth up Newcrons; the grav will handle serpents okay but more importantly, your army is largely immune to them. You'll laugh at Nids. I was going to say knights were your weakness but it sounds like they're disallowed. Shoot, I can't really think of anything that'll give you problems. I mean, unless someone shows up with a weird lascannon spam army I think you could take this thing.

Thank you for the response!

Yes, I think the list has the tools to defeat most opponents, as long as I don't make any huge tactical errors.

I have only gotten a few practice games in with it and I have already seen that it can be very unforgiving. Mostly due to how small, elite, and expensive the units are.

Each loss of a model/unit hurts very badly, and if the Grav Star gets caught with its pants down / out of position, it can lose you the game just like that.

But I would like to discuss your comment about having a weakness to Knights.

I haven't actually faced them with this list before, so you may be correct.

But in my head, I see my two StormRavens flying circles around them and tearing them apart.

I mean, the Knights cannot target them with their big cannons, nor can they assault them, due to being Flyers.

The Ravens have the mobility to get around their Ion Shield saves.

And with TL multimeltas, stormstrike missiles, and assault cannons plinking away, I see them losing hullpoints quite quickly.

Is my theoryhammer sound? Or am I missing something?

In order to have the maneuverability you are talking about, you would have to hover, which would leave you open to both cannon and charge.

I personally run only one raven and use a talon instead... Close to same firepower (no missles) and half the points.
I use the points to change scouts to tactical in pod with beacon so that I have a no scatter deep strike point for the star late game (generally on or near an objective)

Plus tactical with loth are feel no pain because of red scorpions rule

Well, I thought you said no super heavies, will they even be there?

Anyway, AdLance is going to be how you encounter Knights.
Sure, you can handle 1 but three with a rerollable
Invul will be tough. It depends on the composition of the rest of his list, but he could hav AA as well.

It's not unwinnable but against a competent player; it's a bad match up for you.

How do the Knights get the rerollable invuln? Is that the void shield thing that's directional? I haven't played against any Knights yet so I'm uninformed

Besides.... Let them worry about flyers while you gate and pop a knight at least every other turn right? That's what I've heard from fellow draigostar players anyways

It's a formation called adamanine lance from the Red Waagh. As long as the Knights stay within 3" of each other they get to rerollable invul. Each knight also rolls at the beginning of the game to see if it becomes a seneschal. That then makes the roll a 3++. Their warlord auto has a 3++.

It's nasty.

That is crazy... Still I think with three models on the table, this army should be able to focus fire at least one down every other turn.... Each Titan death should be devastating for the opponent

I did see a list similar to this one at the last tournament I went to I never faced the guy "thank god" but he brought 5 Knights needless to say ground targets disappeared so fast it's like they were never there also he was able to rush towards the fliers either forcing them to be useless with shooting or for them to go into hover mode and score a "lucky" explodes result it was a very cheap list I agree I mean 5 Knights with 3 belonging to the store!!?? But whatever I was there to have fun. But it is possible to out menouvre fliers just move at or behind them and bam useless. Also watch out for Tau with fliers they have the skyfire/interceptor crap which can either make you jink in your turn or even just shoot them down in general.
