Hi guys, just wondering what you guys think of my army:
HQ:
• Kor’Sarro Khan- 150pt: Moondraken
• Command Squad- 210pt: 5x bikes, company champion, 4x grav-guns
Troops:
• Bike squad- 159pt: 4x bikers, 2x meltas, attack bike with multi-melta
• Bike squad- 135pt: 5x bikers, 2x grav-guns
Elites:
• Vanguard Veteran squad- 220pt: 5x veterans with jump packs, 5x storm shields, thunder hammer, power axe, lightning claw
Fast Attack:
• Stormtalon- 125pt: Skyhammer missile launcher

Hmm the Vanguard Veterans seems too loaded up... Your choice to keep them although they're not too effective or to ditch them.
At 1000 I'd go with:
Command Squad, apothecary 4x Grav guns or plasma guns 210
Khan
2x5 bike squad, with additional MM attack bike, 2x Melta, combi melta 190x2
5 bikes, 2x grav/plasma, combi 145
Stormtalon or a land speeder and some Assault Marines with flamers

All bikes is the way to go. 5 squads will cover a table, when you scout and move its just game over for most armies.

Also, in my area at 1k there'd be at least 5 people with 2 flyers. Best to not play that game at all though with the scars and just hope for the right matches.

What about this army list then?
HQ:
• Kor’Sarro Khan- 150pt: Moondraken
• Command Squad- 310pt: 5x bikes, company champion, 4x grav-guns, 4x storm shields, 4x lightning claws
Troops:
• Bike squad- 159pt: 4x bikers, 2x meltas, attack bike with multi-melta
• Bike squad- 253pt: 8x bikers, 2x grav-guns, attack bike with multi-melta
Fast Attack:
• Stormtalon- 125pt: Skyhammer missile launcher
Now Khans squad is the one for combat and the other squads are quite bulk to.
What do you think?

Decide if you want the Command Squad shooty or choppy, if you kit them out for both they become a giant fire magnet, and a 3+/3++ won't save them for long.
Option 1: CC
Give them power weapons and a couple of stormshields, then jink every turn until you charge
Option 2: shoot
4 grav guns, maybe a couple of SS to LOS some shots off Kor'Sarro, very nasty build compared to melee loadout (also slightly cheaper)

I have decided as shooty for the command squad and with the left over points from getting rid of the lightning claws and the storm talon I have boosted the melta squad and added a Librarian.
HQ:
• Kor’Sarro Khan- 150pt: Moondraken
• Command Squad- 230pt: 5x bikes, company champion, 4x grav-guns, 2x storm shields
• Librarian- 85pt- bike, force axe
Troops:
• Bike squad- 258pt: 8x bikers, power axe, 2x meltas, attack bike with multi-melta
• Bike squad- 268pt: 8x bikers, power axe, 2x grav-guns, attack bike with multi-melta
What do you think?

Lose the company champion, he's a choppy marine in a shooty unit and if IIRC he can't take Grav and you're better served with an apothecary for fnp.
Make the librarian level 2, taking off the power axes (since bike sarges doesn't have bp/chainsword combo they have only one attack, two on the charge. Not worth a 15 pts power weapon)
And round off with some meltabombs.

So now my list looks like this:
HQ:
• Kor’Sarro Khan- 150pt: Moondraken
• Command Squad- 235pt: 5x bikes, Apothecary, 4x grav-guns, 2x storm shields, melta bombs
• Librarian- 110pt- bike, force axe, mastery level 2
Troops:
• Bike squad- 248pt: 8x bikers,2x meltas, attack bike with multi-melta, melta bombs
• Bike squad- 253pt: 8x bikers, 2x grav-guns, attack bike with multi-melta
I think its pretty shooty and with the help of Khan and the Librarian I think it is a pretty decent list. Do you think I should take a stormtalon over the librarian though?

At 1000 you shouldn't encounter too many flyers, but if you like it you can swap it,it's always a good choice
