I'm surprised you haven't gotten more response here. I mean, the terrain looks a lot more interesting than more MDF stuff out there!

It possibly could be that folks are looking the other way because of the use of indiegogo. Regardless it is indeed cool looking stuff.

EDIT: Corrected spelling mistake... meant 'It' not 'I'...

Should definitely be on Kickstarter.com. Paragons of the hobby like Dust/Battlefront, Relic Knights, Imbrian Arts and more have proven time and again that only Kickstarter is the place you should trust with your money

I still don't get the whole Indiegogo beef though. One of the things I find so frustrated with Kickstarter is the whole credit card thing. Which might be very common in countries like the US, but in Holland for example credit card usage isn't as common place.

Is shipping paid when you pledge with indiegogo or after?

Hi Friends!

Thank you for the welcome!! All the information are at the indiegogo´s campaign page (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/iron-battlefield).
It is not in Kickstarter because they don´t offer their services to Spain, and I´m not agree with somethings of their policy.
Also, there is a lot of games project at Indiegogo´s working good. I only need the required diffusion.

If you like the project, please, share it!!! that will help us a lot, and we will be very grateful. And if you support us, better than better!!

Unclebadtouch, the shipping is just before send. Shipping cost can change sometimes in 5-9 months, and we had bad suprises at before campaigns.

I will upload more video tomorrow, with details and more descriptions.

Thank you for comment!! all that you need about project, ask me please

I do like the look of this ALOT - but a bit nervous of Inde rather than KS - might be foolish but still.

This is a FLEXIBLE funding campaign so the project creator gets to keep your money even if they fail to hit their target (and are expected to give you your rewards)

so while this is not an issue if the person involved has already made the items and just needs to ship them can be a major problem if it's not all done

In this case it looks a reasonable gamble as they are an existing business and are making and designing this stuff already as well as having fulfilled a couple of previous projects

but probably not an ideal one to get your Indiegogo feet wet for the first time (look for a FIXED funding campaign where you'll get a refund if the project fails to fund)....

you also need to be a lot more committed than you are on KS as you pay when you back, not at the end so no changing your mind without a lot of hassle

Hi again!

I undestand the mistrust. My trademark, EnCobertura, has 7 years old, we had made two before crowdfundings, and they were delivered within 9 months in worst case.
You can read about our reputation here: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/iron-battlefield/x/3993583#AU.

Also, models are designed. We only need optimize them and add some little details (boxes, obstacles, screens, big corridors....), and improve manufacturing capacity, but we need have popular support to continue with this madness!! Crowdunding is the best way for that

And THAT is one of the biggest problems with IndieGogo - that and the fact that you're charged your pledge immediately upon backing a project, and I think the creator than has to authorize the refund if you want to cancel or reduce your pledge, IIRC.

Still, this one looks nice - so good luck!

I think the biggest beef, is that indigogo takes the money immediately, Kickstarter waits until it is funded, if i remember correctly.

Great scenery though.

I really love this stuff.. wish it was on kickstarter (echo...). Perhaps when the backing period is closer to being complete I'll back it. Not a fan of flexible funding.

Excellent MDF terrain (admittedly, helped by excellent painting).

Best of luck.

Kirasu, now in Indiegogo, flexible funding is the same at practical terms to fixed funding, specially when goal was low and reached. Project is almost ready, only need optimize... and backers!!

Yeah you're right about the flex funding already being funded. I really do like this stuff, mostly because it's pre-painted. Big plus for me over other MDF.

I'll definitely support it, probably for a fairly high amount.

$1,000,000 and a 50% discount

Just a quick question regarding goals: Will they be per-pledge or per individual set?

For example: If I pledged a size 6 and wanted another size 6, would I get 2 lots of the stretch goals A, B, C, D & E or just one set?

Ehsteve:
you get one stretch goal PER pledge!!
For example, if you get 2 complex (perk 6), you will receive 2x (A, B, C, D & E).

Rewards are cumulative.
