I love me some dreadnoughts, hence Bjorn and the ven dread. The idea is the drop prod dread is a DISTRACTION CARNIFEX for whatever the land raider full of angry blood claws and their priest is aiming for. Grey hunters will drop and pop whatever is a suitable target (flamers will try to push something off an objective, meltas will poke an AV target). Bjorn will spread some AP2 joy around wherever it is needed and just generally be a pain in the backside. Gunship is primarily a flyer hunter but if there isn't one then it is set up to irritate most targets.

I was thinking of going Wolves Unleashed FOC so I can get pretty much all my army in on turn 2, what do people think of that vs my troops gaining ObjSec?

My only suggestion would be use the hellfrost gun over the plasma uness you have a ton of 2+ infintry in your meta.

1 no gets hot
2 can tank bust or pog =)

I was considering that. I do have a friend who likes to use a Grav-Cent / Tigerius star so I thought about having some extra AP2 to help with that, but I was already planning on trying to use the Blood Claws and ven dread to overwhelm them.

Helfrost is definitely the better gun overall but wasn't sure if I should have at least 1 dedicated AP2 something.

If you're putting a blood claw blob in the LR, its a shame you can't find the points for Ulric, this will give them all Preferred Enemy...

I would change the stormfang to a stormwolf and use that to deliver the blood claws. You could then drop the land raider and take a predator or long fangs and still have extra points. Just giving you some options to consider.

yah I like the idea of dropping the LR and putting the Blood Claws in the flyer! for 260 more points you could take Ulric instead of the Wolf Priest and put him with the Blood claws and still take a 5 man squad of long fangs with Missile launchers too!
