Subject: Has anyone ported 40k to Warmachine?

Love the 40k models, but the rules are crap.
I find myself really liking the Warmachine rules, but I find the models less great. And even if I did like them, I'd still love a way to use my boyz and have them not just die in droves on a 2+
Wondering if anyone has done any sort of 40k port to the Warmachine rules?

One user has actually gone a long way to doing just that. I'll hunt down the link to his stuff and his username
KojiroMade is the user's name, and https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2488a5d0ld02rce/eiZfagvB92 is the link to the dropbox file with the 40K-WMH rules, he calls it 40IK in his sig.

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own... |

I'd been planning to try writing a Warmahordes styled 8th edition 40k for a while now, but I'm far too lazy to attempt so much work.

Not really a rules conversion, just models, but you can check out my gallery for my Necron inspired Cryx. Also starting up a Cephalyx army that replaces most all of the Drudge models with Dark Eldar Wracks.

I've made a small attempt but haven't done much for a while. What I'm lacking is feedback from outside my group.

There's a few spelling errors (Dakr Reaper, Maniblaster inconsistency on Striking Scorpion Exarch, etc) and also a few oddities (Striking Scorpion Exarch's Biting Blade's Sustained Attack cannot trigger, Dark Reaper's tactic makes no sense for a ranged unit, etc) but looks interesting! Good job over all
Oh and you really want to make another pass on The Returned and look at Critical Consume since it will currently eat a Warjack/beast before Critical Catastrophical Damage will happen.

I really need to stay away from the 40K forums. |

Yeah it's far from perfect. The entire card making process was/is done by me solo. It's time consuming to say that least, but thank you for pointing those out. I'll make some corrections when I get a chance.

yeah.... I totally meant to send you some feedback once I scheduled some games, then everyone in the area quit 40k and started warmachine and then...
Well yeah. My bad Kojiro.

It's all good. I don't have as much time as I used to for it anyway. I'm still interested in completing it at some point but yeah, I do really need feedback.
Any and all comments abd criticisms welcome.

Will have to take a look at this when I get a chance because I hate the ever changing 40K rules but really am liking Warmachine Hordes.

Have you considred Gruntz? I've heard (though I don't know) that it borrows alot from Warmachine. It's designed for 15mm sci-fi gaming but could probably be grown to 28mm.
