Just curious if anyone will be attending Privateer Press Lock and Load this weekend?

I'll be there! Right now, I'm planning on a 35-50 point list for Haley3 and just play her all weekend.

I'm not going, but good luck getting Haley 3, I'm guessing they sell out of her very quickly - I'm just hoping that I can get the package deal online for her and the book.

Well, I'm leaving for Lock and Load in a couple hours. Should have my grubby little hands on the next book by tonight, or maybe tomorrow during the Privateer Press Invitational. Wish more people from here were going! It's a great time. I'd love to meet some of my fellow Dakkanoughts.

I can really dig some of them. Hey, while you were there, did they show off any new rules for the models? Otherwise, bloody top, I hope it was a lot of fun. That new Cygnar solo with the two swords looks pretty cool, looks Stormbladeish. Also, question for my merc loving self, did they show off the new Steelhead solo I've heard is a thing?

As a merc lover, that stormblade solo is actually a Thamarite merc

Was not aware, I don't follow all of the Warmachine news. Plus, it's right next to the Cygnar stuff mate

Very good. He is also the protagonist from the book "Into the Storm" by Larry Correia.

The new Warmachine Book "Reckoning" was also released at Lock and Load with the stats of all the new models.

They also had on display the Effrit Scouts, Gremlin Swarm, and Croak Raiders, all of which were available at the L&L store or online during the event. The big draw was probably the Hordes 10th Anniversary box that had Epic Kormac and the Warlock Unit Rhys and Sayrin all on a nice resin display base.

Either the scrub or the leader of the unit was the protagonist. Acosta was probably just
Correia's favorite character to write.

Yeah Acosta should be really good when he's released. I was able to get the anniversary box and Haley without even going to Lock and Load online. Can't wait for PP to send them. Lots of money spent though - as I play Everblight and Cygnar, I think I'll sell the Kromac on ebay - considering what people are willing to pay for a pre-release, I may make enough back that one of the things I bought will have been for free.
