Perfectly timed, too as I just finished painting three (count 'em!) Reiksgard on foot. (And I've been buying some Skaven).

Aaarrrggghhh!!!

Now I have to decide whether to field my Empire as Empire or continue to repurpose them as Kingdoms of Men!

(The only reason for the debate is my steam tank.... )

I'm not sure I understand what the Rhordia is supposed to be? It's more like a WHFB Dogs of War list, as it's missing a ton of analogs for Empire - such as outriders, flagellents, etc. The Kingdoms of Men list covers Empire better than the Rhordia list. It's pretty redundant.

Disappointed that it's not skaven & lizardmen as those dont' really have analogues as far as I can tell. Not a fan of the Empire list either.

Not sure I understand the Rally rule either. That said I'm glad I started picking up some skaven from here and there for an army. I think they could be fun.

Allied KoM and "Empire" seems to be the best bet, atm. Maybe with Ogres as well depending on your actual Empire army.

Yeah, I didn't get any real sense of Empire in that that the KoM didn't cover better.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Indeed, if they just add in the steam tank to the kingdoms of men then it's a straight up imperial List. Though I haven't seen much reactions about the rat men.

According to a quick Wikipedia source, they're mythological Armenian dog spirits. From the rules, they're some kind of giant riding hounds that can have wings

They're there as not-empire demigryph knights.

When this is finalized, I hope someone makes an unofficial unofficial fan copy with all the GW names swapped in. Cause this just hurts my brain.

Post giant streaming banners and PM the hell out of me when a not-chaos warriors list goes up. That's gonna be my bread and butter.

Are they gonna make a Bretonnian one or is that pretty much covered by KoM?

I would assume so. if not then the Basileans would make a good alternative to Brets.

Oooooo Beastmen....

Y'know, even if Age of Sigmar is total pants as I fear, I think gathering a small herd for myself could be pretty fun...

And now my werewolves can ally with my dwarfs.

Wicked!

My first thought about the Nature list was that Werewolves should have been on it. (I have my KoW Werewolves painted up with wode....) And now I can ally them with Nature.

I honestly think werewolves shouldn't be in undead. They're not really undead, are they? If I'm going to play Undead I'll use zombie wolves or something.

It will be so funny when people jump ship but start collecting all new GW armies to play in KOW... and GW thinks that their Age of Sigmar thing must be really popular if Fantasy is suddenly selling again.

Any word on O&G and Chaos?

O&G are already covered by the Orc and Goblin list.

Will there be things like big spiders and squigs?

Giant spiders can be covered with a Krudger on slasher, but squigs do not exist in the KoW universe. Not every single unit will have a 100% match, because they're just not part of KoW.

One could argue that mawbeasts fill the role of squigs.

Assuming they are still in the list. I've not been keeping track of all the updates.

True, forgot about them. Mawbeasts are in the goblin list.

I keep checking back, waiting for the WoC list. Even though I expect it'll take the longest since it has to account for Marks, in addition to just the units that get them. It's a bit more intricate. And it's something that's really needed, otherwise it'll be lackluster.

The lists are not a 1:1 translation of the WHFB lists.

yeah the League of Rhordia is nowhere near being an Empire analogue... I'm not even sure what it's supposed to be an analogue of, actually.

Well, if Mantic doesn't do Chaos Marks, I'll just add em in for my friendly games.

Followers of bliss: no morale checks from shooting, +20ppu
Followers of hate: +5 to attack, +30ppu
Followers of filth: +1 to defense, +30ppu
Followers of (not sure what to call Tzeentch yet): Magic missile, 24", [5] shot, +20ppu

Or something like that.
