So after my last army list and taking into consideration everything everyone has mentioned to be I have revised my list and I think this will still be a little fluffy and hopefully still stand a chance to win against other people. So here we Go

Lords:

Chaos Lord: Hellfire Sword, Enchanted Shield, Talisman of Endurance, Mark of Khorne

Heroes:

Sorcerer: Lvl 2, Dispell Scroll, Mark of Nurgle

Exalted Hero: BSB, Charmed Shield, Dawn Stone, Mark of Nurgle

Core:

5 Chaos Warhounds

24 Chaos Warriors: Musician, Standard Bearer, Halberds, Mark of Khorne

24 Chaos Warriors: Musician, Standard Bearer, Shields, Mark of Nurgle

Special:

10 Chaos Knights: Musician, Lances, Mark of Nurgle

Rare:

Skullcrushers: Ensorcelled Weapons.

Chaos Lord goes with Khorne Warriors to form a truly nasty killing Unit.

BSB and Sorcerer go with Nurgle Warriors as my tanky hard to kill unit.

Knights run around trying to get flank changes off and people tough to kill.

Skullcrushers murder anything in their path.

Hounds for Chaff.

I'm actually 1 point over, but most people are ok with that. (I hope)

I find the layout on the Bsb to be a little weak. Dawn stone on a 3+ isn't very good. Especially seeing as he will be challenging.

I'd consider dropping the amount of warriors and giving them both shields and halberds.

Then drop the Knights to two units of five, ten is unwieldy and the back guys are basically 50 point arrow catchers.

I'll try and buff the BSB somehow.

I could drop a few warriors to give them all shields and halberds.

If i reduce the knights to 2 squads, 1 squad wont have a mark of lances.

I think your knights would be better with ensorcelled blades.

I just dont have the points sadly :( Id have to drop even more warriors and Im not sure going to 20 or below is really a good idea.

18 warriors is still a formidable block

QFT, particularly with halberds, and marks, and escorted by killy chaos characters!

Support breaking knights into 2x 5 w/ musician - lances or ensorcelled are your call, though ensorcelled are 'better' and will give you greater mileage overall. Lances have some prospects as dedicated small unit / monster-hunters or counter-chargers, but ensorcelled can grind.

Want scaled hide on BSB for that rerollable 1+ save. And as for the single point over, I'm not ok with it when you could very very easily avoid it (i.e. take mundane shield instead of charmed shield).

18 Warriors will really be effective? If that's the case I'll have a few more points to spend.

I cant seem to fund Scaled Hide on battlescribe.

Probably because it's actually 'Scaled Skin' (20 pt gift, +2 to armor)

Halberd warriors are the best core troops in the game, at least for another month. Odds are they'll still be amazeballs in 9E too ...

Yeah.

Don't forget, every model not in the front two ranks is basically a wound marker. You shouldn't be losing twelve warriors before you get into combat with something.

Ive managed to bump the warriors up to units of 20.

Just need to make my BSB a little tougher and I think I'm happy with the list.

Yes. Just like the last three times I told ya'.
6 wide, 3 deep. Perfect.

I think a unit of Knights with lances would be a welcome addition to the list. You're pretty much S5 across the board, which is awesome, but sometimes you might need a little more.
But just one unit of 5 of them is enough. I would say that the Ensorcelled Knights should be Khorne, and the ones with lances should be Nurgle. Just so your monster hunters don't get Frenzy-baited.

Speaking of which, you've got one unit of chaff. That is woefully little. You might do okay, simply because every one of your other units is a threat, but I'd still count on getting bogged down, re-directed, and lead around in circles all game

Oh, and I'm not okay with one point over. If we're playing a 2,400pt game, then I expect my opponent to adhere to such rules, just like all the others.
