Subject: Never Enough Putty - AdMech and Nurgle Goodies!

Hey guys! I've been looking armound for some conversions for an admech army, and decided to post my progress with the army here. I'm starting off with some Kataphron Destroyers made from assorted bits. My goal is to make each one unique, as I feel the admech should be very varied in their gear and design.
My first destroyer I am making out of a Flames of War Ferdinand, a Terminator torso, a plasma cannon, a Devestator backpack, guitar string, and a couple other assorted bits.

Right. So I accidentally clicked submit before I finished . That's embarrasing.
The bits came today and I have started my first servitor. Sorry for the picture quality, I was a bit shakey...
I started by GSing the termy torso on the lower part of the tank.
I then added a bunch of wires and tubes and the cannon
I then added a mechadendrite and added the phosphor blaster on that.
That's all for now. Sorry again for the poor photo quality. Any ideas and/or criticisms are welcome!

This looks like quite a promising project. I've never seen anyone use FoW minis like that. It's a pretty clever idea.

PROGRESS!
My heads came and I think they look pretty cool.
They also fit perfectly into the termy bodies unlike certain heads *cough* skitarii *cough* I also added the tracks. If anyone knows any techniques to adding FoW tracks please tell me. I spent a good 30 minutes trying to get these things to stay...
That's all for now. I know the photo quality is still bad. IM TRYING!

Macro setting and auto-focus. Or set your camera on a chair to balance it. Project is coming along nicely otherwise.

Hey guys! I've started on the second servitor while I wait for the rest of my bits to arrive. I forget the name of the tank that I used as the base but it's quite a bit smaller, which is fine. Hope you like it!
If anybody knows of any alternatives to plasma cannons that I can buy in bulk I would be appreciative if they would tell me. It's annoying to have to buy each one individually.

Yay for cables? YES! . I need to stop with all of this guitar string. I've gone through three entire stings already...

Just started lobotomizing a bunch of imperial tanks for Papa Nurgle. Also bought a bunch of tools such as an exacto knife and sculpting schtuff. You would not BELIEVE the amount of times I've cut myself

ooooh, I have a tank bottom (I get a cream for that) and I think I'll convert it into a Kataphract.
Some Terminators are going to die gloriously under a sharp blade (or I'll buy some)

Great work so far on the Servitor's . I think this shows off one of the best things about the mechanicus, the conversion possibilities are endless.
Have you ever thought about getting one of those green stuff tentacle makers, as their perfect for making different kinds of cables and things,
which work really well with admech conversion's.

I may get one or I may just make a quick push mold for one sided cabled. I dunno
