How do you know it was from the Mantic site? I worked for 2 years in banking and credit card fraud and never seen a same day internet fraud transaction, let alone one which could be traced back to a specific seller.

Contacted them through the form
Reason we know it was there site first off there site was running very slow as in beyond 3 minutes to load up a page then it kept crashing just there site.
Less than 45 minutes after there site got over 10 charges to my card used repeatedly on 2-3 sites PlayStation site and can't remember the other one some Irish site these charges where in fast succession a 4 for the exact same amount 3 for the same amount and so on
I didn't even mention the mantic site and was told from the card fraud people this is where it had to have came from.
So better to let mantic know let them check as would hate for this to hurt there business as once trust is gone it rarely comes back.
On the joke side who's waiting for gw to be blamed ? Since they released a kak game they don't want mantic to get the business lol
Same day fraud is the best way as wastes no time on card being cancelled no time for people to know anything wrong they just blitz the card seen it happen a good few times very surprised daedleh you haven't heard of this. It was the only time I used my card that day and to be honest only time I have used that card in about 4 months so let's face it doesn't take much to point out where it came from.
But sela vee this was not intended to create any bad blood towards mantic was only to try and prevent it from happening to others and to notify mantic of the problem if they are not told how can they fix if

There is no form from you showing up.
Can you please e-mail me directly?

It is very unlikely that the website was hacked however we will look into this as a top priority as we take issues like this very seriously.

Except when the credit card details are acquired, the owner has no way of knowing it so there's no reason for them to cancel the card. The card details are then sold on a black market, often in bulk, because those who get the details don't have the resources to launder money. There is absolutely no way that your details would be stolen, sold and used within 45 minutes. The chances of it being saved to a collection, then that collection being sold within 45 minutes and your card details being picked out and used is infinitesimal.
I'm still not seeing the connection between a slow site and that site being responsible for your card details being used elsewhere?

Same day fraud like that only makes sense if the card has been physically taken. If the details have been stolen then it makes more sense to wait as it will obfuscate the trail.
The mantic website looks fine speed wise to me, my first thought would be malware of some type on your computer as that may explain the speed issue, have you tried "malware bytes" or something similar?

Incorrect sir, Internet fraud can be extremely quick, I had it happen a couple years ago. I didn't use my credit card (not my debit card) for more than 2 weeks (which can be typicall for me) and never had it physically stolen. I went and bought some stuff over the internet lack of stores carrying the materials I wanted (wood working tools and hardware store). Within 12 hours the bank called asking if I made 4 other purchases amounting to $5000+ USD. All purchases were online trasactions out of the country. It can happen and it could only be that last order I made. later the company called to apologize, since thier secure transaction provider had indeed been hacked.

I'd be real interested to know if this was a hack against mantic or a keylogger/redirect on the PC.

No logger on my PC or virus or trojan no malware what it could be is the paysite mantic used since I paid by card and not PayPal
Ether a program between the mantic site and pay site or close to that but can 100% guarantee its not something on my end. My PC is more than well protected.

I remember a few years ago when the local supermarket got hacked....
It did not take long at all, at all for the false charges to start showing up - but my card company jumped on it fast.
In the case of the supermarket it was not even their computer that got hacked - it was the company that handled it for them, because they had extra security....
