So, Since my gaming group plays apocalypse matches ocasionaly I'd like to get a super heavy vehicle for my Space Wolves to use during the apocalypse matches, And while I'd like a super heavy tank, There dosent realy seem to be any for space marines.. Exept the Fellblade and a friend already got one.. So, What would you recomend for Space Wolves in apocalypse matches? If I'd take a Knight I'd probably pick a Warden with fist.. But I would like a tank since I like tanks more..

The only truly SPESS MERRENZ super heavy I'm aware of is the thunderhawk, which is like a $600 forge world model, and honestly just ok, as I recall.

Knights are solid super heavy choices. honestly, though, one knight probably won't last too long in apoc games, though few things really do.

The only imperial superheavy tank is the baneblade and its many variants, and it's technically a imperial guard vehicle, not a space marine one.

There's always the warhound/warlord titans, but they are super pricey.

But if you want an imperial super heavy tank, its a baneblade or nothing.

I personally find it odd that the GW poster boyz, space marines, have so few super-heavy choices. Orks have a half-dozen I can think of.

Although not mentioned on those pages both have rules for 40k in Imperial Armour 2 Volume 2, although fluffwise they are Heavy Tanks, ruleswise they are Super-Heavy Lords of War.

Hi there!

I enjoy skiing, snow ball fights, and long walks on the frozen tundra. I can be painted any color you want, and I enjoy supporting Imperium of Man forces in all of their multitude of codecies during Apocalypse games.

I provide superior firepower on a durable frame.

Ah, thanks. The Warhound titan is awesome, If it wasent so painfully expensive (For poor people like me) and was avalable to order through the local GW reseller, I would have gotten one. As it is, I'd have to save for like 8 months or more to afford it.. xD

Knights are way of the future, while being lock solidly in the past. And they don't take up a LoW slot.

... man, one good melta-arrow to the knee, and you could waste like 3k points in a single shot.

I used to have a SW Lord of War like you, until it took a melta-arrow in the knee.

While the Typhon and Cerberus were mentioned, there is also the SM version of the Baneblade: the Fellblade. You can fairly easily convert a baneblade into one (particular with conversion parts from Blood and Skull on eBay), rather than buy the FW version.

I did mention the Fellblade in the first post in this topic and how my friend already owns one.. I'd rather not have the exact same superheavy as someone else has (To add more diversity to the apocalypse matches)

Hmm... just listing them off the top of my head, you've got the Typhon, Cerberus, Spartan (I could be wrong about this), Warhound, Reaver, Warlord, Fellblade, Glaive, Falchion, Kharybdis, and the upcoming Mastadon (no idea on timeframe). I don't actually know which of these are legal for 40k; I don't have IA2. You'll have to ask someone else about that.

See, you're trying to use people logic. DM uses Mandelogic, which we've established has 2+2=quack. - Aerethan

What about his more sexy looking brother, the Glaive then? Should also be convertable from the Baneblade-kit with a bit of plasticard and would definitely stand out.

While the Legion Glaive is awesome (I have one), it is for 30K only (officially, anyway, as your gaming group could always decide otherwise).
