The list might not be the most competitive or efficient one I've written.
Indeed, while the list itself might be mediocre since it focuses on making best use of models I currently have or wish to use(in this list, the vindicator squadron), instead of picking up the best choices.
I would like to hear comments on how to compliment the list for better performance, although the limitation of being 'sub-par' list still exists. Thank you.

Gladius Strike Force(Codex : Space Marines) / Chapter Tactics : Iron Hands

Battle Demi-Company

Captain(Chapter Master, Thunder Hammer, Artificer Armour, Shield Eternal) - Note : Most of the time, the Captain will join the centurions and 'tank' them against enemy firepower.
Tactical Squad(1xSergeant : Combi-Grav, 9xSpace Marines : Meltagun, Grav-Cannon & Grav-Amp, Drop Pod)
Tactical Squad(1xSergeant : Combi-Melta, 4xSpace Marine : Meltagun, Drop Pod)
Tactical Squad(1xSergeant : Bolt Pistol & Chainsword, 4xSpace Marines : Lascannon, Drop Pod)
Bike Squad(1xBiker Sergeant : Melta Bomb, 3xBiker)
Centurion Devastator Squad(3xGrav-Cannon & Grav-Amp, 3xHurricane Bolter, 1xCenturion Sergeant : Omniscope, 2xCenturion, Land Raider)

Armoured Task Force

Techmarine(Servo-Harness, Bike)
Predator(Twin-linked Lascannon, 2xLascannon Sponson)
Vindicator Squadron(2xVindicator : 2xDozer Blade, 2xStorm Bolter, 1xVindicator : 1xDozer Blade)
Whirldwind

Total : 1,999pts

First, Welcome to Dakka.

You seem a little light on boots on the ground for a 2k list.

Grav cannons on PA troops are very expensive, but kinda nasty. Why the melta in the squad? Other tacs look good.

No specials on the bikes seems a waste. I’d try to scrape the points up.

If you have the HQ tanking, I might just footslog the cents. 250 for the LR is a huge chunk of change.

I’m not a fan of the vindi squad. Sure the big boom seems nice, but they all need to be alive to use it, and as a squad they need to shoot at the same thing.

The 10-man squad was composed so that it splits into two combat squads : 1 with combi-grav and grav-cannon, the other with meltagun.
(Dropping two meltaguns on turn 1 seemed a nit insufficient for me. Hence the additional meltagun on 10-man squad)
Therefore deep striking three tactical squads on turn 1(including 5-man 2 melta squad), allowing the squads to target 3 enemy units and/or aim for more objectives.

I tend to invest minimum points on bike squads as they rarely get a chance to fire their special weapons at full BS. I constantly play against armies with large amount of AP2~3 firepower.
(Imperial Knights, Eldar bright lance walker spam lists, etc.)
The only reason why there is an additional biker is because I wanted to increase the "bubble range" which the bikers could provide against turn 1 Meltagun Pods.
(.i.e. circling around vindicators or land raiders with 6" distance to deny melta range)

Albeit expensive, the extra 6" range added from disembarkation, two extra TL lascannons, and the saturation of firepower(which could otherwise be directed to vindicators if Land Raider wasn't present) are reasons why I included Land Raider.
However, I would appreciate suggestions on substitutes for the Land Raider.

For 2000 points you can have a full company with a LOT of firepower. Exploiting the up to TWELVE Razors. No matter what anyone thinks about Razors, an Assault Cannon or Lascannon/TL Plasmagun, 3 hullpoint mobile armoured platform is nice for 20 points.

Uber Captain/Chapter Master (bike, hammer, shield/eternal) alongside the Chaplain, riding with 3++ T5 Grav Command Bikers. Not a bad unit.
Command Bikers with Apothecary and 4 Gravguns and shields (and a Razorback if you are happy with taking one for them)

2 Lascannons Dev Squads - each with a LasPlas Razor

2 Toastie Squads - each with 2 flamers and a TL Heavy Flamer Razor

4 Tacs with a GravCannon/Amp - AssCan Razor

2 Tacs with Meltaguns/combi meltas - LasPlas Razor

3 Units of 8 men Sniper or Bolter Scouts that can deploy after setup to help counter a threat, maybe even 1 shot a MC as I did in the last game with 24 sniper shots .

LOTS of firepower and targets for your opponent to deal with! A 2000 point gladius is scary.

I’d use the points from the LR to boost your squads up to 10 men w/ specials and heavies. I’m an Codex-compliant Ultramarine like that , Put your CM on a bike. He can still tank for the cents, but it also gives him the mobility to go out and smash things. I’d also give the bikes their specials. Against armies with AP3, you can have the CM tank for them, rather then the cents.

Too late I have found out that I can take a command squad per battle demi-company. I previously thought a chaplain and a rhino was mandatory option for including the squad.
Now that I know they can be brought on their own, I slightly changed the roster.

Gladius Strike Force(Codex : Space Marines) / Chapter Tactics : Iron Hands

Battle Demi-Company

Captain(Chapter Master, Power Fist, Bike, Artificer Armour, Shield Eternal)
Command Squad(Bikes, 4xMelta Bomb, 4xStorm Shield, 4xVeteran : 2xGrav-Gun, 1xApothecary)
Tactical Squad(1xSergeant : Combi-Melta, 4xSpace Marine : Meltagun, Drop Pod)
Tactical Squad(1xSergeant : Bolt Pistol & Chainsword, 4xSpace Marines : Lascannon)
Tactical Squad(1xSergeant : Bolt Pistol & Chainsword, 4xSpace Marines)
Attack Bike Squad(1xAttack Bike)
Centurion Devastator Squad(3xGrav-Cannon & Grav-Amp, 3xHurricane Bolter, 1xCenturion Sergeant : Omniscope, 2xCenturion, Land Raider)

Armoured Task Force

Techmarine(Servo-Harness, Bike)
Predator(Twin-linked Lascannon, 2xLascannon Sponson)
Vindicator Squadron(2xVindicator : 2xDozer Blade, 2xStorm Bolter, 1xVindicator : 1xDozer Blade)
Whirldwind

Total : 2,000pts
