Any one know a good way to base Wrath of kings?? The well is so deep on the supplied bases that you have to build it up or have the mini standing knee deep in the mud... Plaster wont work, since you cant glue the mini into the plaster once it dries. I see people use cork, but the cork I find at Hobby Lobby and such is easily torn. The mini could be torn right off the base.

Any ideas?

I had the same problem. The miniatures were amazing quality, but when I opened it up and saw the bases, I was, "what the feth?"
I just went out and bought different bases.

Also, check out my history blog: Minimum Wage Historian, a fun place to check out history that often falls between the couch cushions.

I fill the base with air drying clay, texture it and stick the figure right in. Usually the insert comes loose from the base once it dries, so I just glue it down afterwards.

You can also fill them in with pumice gel, and pin the model in.
