Hi all,

Have any of you used the fan made Codex Angry Marines? If so have you had any success with it on the tabletop?

I ask as I am going to start putting some models together as I personally think the codex is hilarious, OK it is crude and fairly immature but perhaps 40k needs a bit of that.

Cheers

Please note, for those of you who play Chaos Daemons as a faction the term "Daemon" is potentially offensive. Instead, please play codex "Chaos: Mortally Challenged". Thank you.

Which codex are you using? Most of the PDFs floating around are out of date, this is the 7e codex in its current form: http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Codex_-_Angry_Marines

The point values have been brought up to date with codex Space Marines, but no formations.

I've never played them in a game, but I can tell you that the current Codex isn't at the same power level as SM, DA, and the other 7.5 armies.

When the only tool you have is a Skyhammer, every army begins to resemble a nail.

Thanks for the reply. I am not concerned about power levels, I play CSM and DE for heavens sake.

Thanks for the link too.

Cheers
