Kicking around a list for Sunday to play with, be competitive but straight Skitarii.

10 Vanguard - 3x Plasma Calivers, 1x Omnispex (Warlord (A))
8 Vanguard - 2x Plasma Calivers, 1x Omnispex
8 Vanguard - 2x Plasma Calivers, 1x Omnispex

10 Rangers - 3x Arc Rifles, 1x Omnispex, 1x Arc Pistol
10 Rangers - 3x Arc Rifles, 1x Omnispex, 1x Arc Pistol
10 Rangers - 3x Transuranic Arquebus, 1x Omnispex

5 Inflitrators - Flechette Blasters/Taser Goads, The Phase Taser

2 Dragoons - Taser Lances

3 Ballistarii Ironstriders - TL Lascannons
2 Dune Crawlers - Icarus Arrays, 1 with Heavy Stubber

Looks like a fun Army to play, going to try it to see how it performs. 3 Codex's at once was a bit much so going back to one Codex. Dragoons will support the Infiltrators. Ballistarii will go and attack from range trying to flank vehicles or high armor, I do realize I could get another Ironstrider or Dragoon without the Lascannons but Autocannons have been finicky lately. The 2 8 man Vanguard will screen the 10 man Vanguard. The Arc Rangers will be hunting vehicles. Then the objective camping squad of Rangers with snipers. I should have a 1/2 Ratio of Vanguard I know but I like move through cover, the dice Gods hate my rough terrain rolls. Critique always welcome!

I would suggest, If possible, to give your infiltrators the relic mask that gives them Zealot. This will help with any morale checks from losing models in shooting. I have seen it used and it is a huge help with all the shooting these guys always seem to attract. I also run the dune crawlers and have found 1 icarus Array has been enough, the Str 10 Ap1 Blast weapons is great for the other dune crawler. But these are just my experience.

I'd be skeptical of running plasma calivers in your non warlord squads cause an unlucky roll and you lose a 44 point model

@KnightScion - I'm going to try to find the points for the Mask instead of The Phase Taser, its just funny for 15 points I could possibly phase a multi wound character. As for the Icarus I'm going to keep the second one, if I was going to do anything I would buy 2 more Dune Crawlers and give them Neurons.

@Marc I definitely agree but have nothing to replace them. Original concept was one of the 8 being 10 man with 3 Plasma and the other being a 10 man bare bones before I decided to split them.

I may reroute the Dragoons/Striders to outflank in the formation.

Edited to the past two list. I was not happy with the other list. Infiltrators always become target saturation, swapped them for two bare bone Vanguard squads. Completely maxes my troops out. Thoughts or Critiques?

I am debating between dropping one of the Icarus Crawlers for a Neutron Laser and droping one of the bare bone squads for another Dune Crawler with Neutron Laser. Still debating on the outflanking squad too. I've always had good luck but its a glass cannon and dragoons are not nearly as effective if they don't come on turn 1. Debating on dropping the formation and combining the Dragoons into one 4 man squad.

Your warlord becomes a little more survivable. 5 man squads with arc weapons is the more efficient way to run other vanguard squads. your rangers can set up for sniping and harassment at either table edge. The dune crawlers can set up in a massive gun line and just thrash the mid field and anything that flies into range. Walkers do their thing in whatever way supports your position best. You've got less infantry on the field, but more heavy equipment with invulnerable saves and hard hitting weaponry.
