Hello
Our community is organizing 400pts combat patrol with AdeptiCon limitations (wounds over 2 drop to 2, 2+ saves ok, no mandatory troops, etc)

I have 3 lists - what is better you think (our meta is 60% marines withs some eldar, tau and AM sprinkled around)?

1) Fast
CSM Sorcerer (bike, burning brand, biomancy, melta bomb, Veteran otlw) 120
+ 4 chaos Spawn (MoN) 144
Maulfiend (lasher tendrils) 135

2) Fast &drop
CSM Sorcerer (Terminator, burning brand, biomancy) 115
4 Chaos terminators (4 combi-plasma) 148
Maulfiend (lasher tendrils) 135

3) Deathstar
Herald of slaanesh (Steed of slaanesh, Grimoair of true names, psi level 1) 115
Herald of slaanesh (Steed of slaanesh, Aetherblade, locus of grace psi level 1) 105
+15 Seekers of slaanesh.

7th edition 40k is a lot like BDSM these days. Only play with people you know and develop a safe word for when things get too intense. And It doesn't hurt to be a sadist or masochist as well.

I would say the maulerfiend is probably going to get focusfired down without any saturation. If you dropped him on the first list you could take a second Sorcerer for the squad and roll for something defensive.

I like the second list better, looks like more fun to play. I would suggest running a min squad of noise marines with a blastmaster at this level though. 48' Large Blast, AP3, and Ignores Cover sounds good to me.

Be prepared for a lot of deathstarts
