Hey guys I'm completely new to the game. I haven't played yet and I've only watched one game. I have a decent understanding of the rules and this is my first list I have come up with that I like. My most common enemies will be Legion, Trolls, Khador, and Cryx. I'm not aiming at a hardcore competitive list at the moment but any feedback is welcome.

Kromac, Champion of the Wurm
Druid Wilder
Feral Warpwolf
Pureblood Warpwolf
Warpwolf Stalker

Tharn Blood Pack (leader & 3 grunts)
Tharn Bloodtrackers (leader & 5 grunts)
Nuala the Huntress
Tharn Ravagers (leader & 3 grunts)
Tharn Ravager Chieftan
Shifting Stones

Main concern is, is this enough models on the board or should I go for more/bigger units? I could drop the stalker for a Gorax and another Ravager unit. I could also switch the feral or pureblood with Ghetorix by dropping the stones. Any feedback is appreciated.

I would drop the Pureblood to get a Gorax and use the points to get the Shifting Stone UA and another unit of Stones.

Its also always best to get max units and not minimum units. You usually get a point discount with max units and they become more effective.

Dropped the pureblood for gorax, filled the trackers, and put UA on stones. Since having 1 pt to spare messes with my ocd and I don't want to spend it on a dog or grove, I dropped the blood pack and took a unit of skinwalkers with UA. Do you think 2 units of stones is necessary? I was looking at that before I found the Druid Wilder but she seems more useful. Thanks for the input.

Double stones is basically Circle 101. Its something thats basically always taken.

Skinwalkers with UA will definitely be more useful than the Bloodpack.

Ok, I switched the wilder for more stones. Think I'm gonna field test tonight. Thanks again.

Stones have been nerfed which is probably why they didn't look so great to me. No double ports, although they're still ok. Lost my first match with stones in the list but won my second with this...

Kromac, champion of the wurm
Druid Wilder
Gorax
Feral Warpwolf
Warpwolf Stalker

10 Bloodtrackers with UA
6 Ravagers with chieftain
3 Skinwalkers with UA

They're still very very good even with the nerf.

Being able to place a heavy 8" forward regardless of intervening models is really good, with a Reach heavy that is 10" of threat regardless of what is in the way. Plus the stones can heal and help with fury.

Yeah, I'll be using them in some lists. I should have specified the loss was against legion and he just shot a stone, regardless of stealth lol.

Legion will do that

So I have some good games under my belt now and I even beat my Legion friend the other night (which felt great) so I want to post the current version of this list which has been successful. My losses so far have been from underestimating things (Typhon), and not knowing about control points.

50 points eKromac

Kromac, Champion of the Wurm
Feral Warpwolf
Feral Warpwolf
Gorax

Full unit of Bloodtrackers with Nuala
Full unit of Ravagers with Chieftain
Full unit of Skinwalkers with Alpha

I keep Kromac in the back and use him mainly for primal shock, carnage, and a very bloody feat turn. The Ravagers and Trackers absolutely murder their front lines. Skinwalkers hang a little ahead of Kromac and keep him safe killing anything that might sneak through. Ferals obviously hunt the heavies/caster with the Gorax in case a feral happens to roll bad and not finish something off. Now that I know how important control points are, it is difficult for them to keep anything alive around them. This game is great, I love all the different tactics and viable lists you can make with each army as opposed to warhammer which was highly unbalanced and each army was pretty much forced to take specific things in order to win.
