There is not this idea.

Painting up some little rat men.

Really wish I had picked up a second IoB when I could have.

Sculpted a butt plate for an obliterator I am trying to make, then glued his torso to his legs and adjusted the height of his shoulders (looked too hunched with how it was first set)!

Heh. I snapped up a bunch of IoB clanrats and rat ogres from resellers on ebay, while the set was still around. Now that I want some of the elves from it, they've become a bit pricier and a lot scarcer.

I'm sooo, sooo sorry.

Yeah, that's for certain. Trading and luck seem to be the way to find them, right now.

Could always get one off of amazon for, let's see... 148 plus shipping. Ha! I really did miss the window of opportunity.

I remember watching all of that stuff go up on eBay but I managed to hold off of it. Barely.

Today I'm working on the cabin still, gotta finish the chimney and the roof, and any other details I'm forgetting.

Working on a Star Phantoms Space Marine Devastator... Hooray for black and white schemes! 40 minutes ago it was looking like I had a disaster on my hands, but a little weathering later, it's gone from 'abjectly terrible' to just 'quite terrible', bordering on 'might not be too bad once all's said and done'...

And then I remember I have to freehand the Chapter symbol on the shoulder pad:

Wish me luck!

Stabbed myself in the thumb yesterday with a hobby knife trying to fix an X-Wing CR90. Super glued it back together and it looks fine (the thumb. The CR90 base peg still looks like trash, but at least it will work)

Why would you do that to yourself?

Staying on topic, I'm doing finishing touches on an Imperial Knight and mooching around on ebay for some Daemons that I might start collecting.

Pretty sure it's the new ones. That's why it's such a great deal, the whole thing is only a little more than a box of Crisis Suits.

Yeah $75 crisis $50 firewarriors and closest equivalent to ethereal I see costs $16. For $85. Pretty solid from GW. Well I wouldnt consider that stuff at full ridiculous price but still...Definitely the new suits and I think the missile platform only comes with new firewarriors. I'm sorely tempted and I've basically sworn off 40k.

Also been organizing game room after bringing last years minis out for photos. Coming up short on a couple of counts so some minis are apparently MIA. Since I have a preschooler and cat... May sadly be upgraded to KIA before it's over

Still by far and away the best of those starter deals appears to be the Lizardmen one... you either get a box of stuff with a free Carnosaur, or a Carnosaur with a bunch of free stuff.... for the price of a Carnosaur

Hiding behind terrain

Was going through a closet to throw out old clothes and found a shoebox stuffed at the back full of old GW boxes I'd kept for no apparent reason.
Among the boxes were old GW boxes of space marine and LOTR men of gondor paint starters, both with their paint tray and paints still inside.

To my shock the paint is still alright in the minipots!
This doesnt mean Im going to paint anything tho.

Going to try and paint some Optifex Directive engies. My convergence army is coming along nicely. Just got to paint Lucant, some Reciprocators and Reductors and then I am basically done.

Well, I'm looking for an expansion of my Cryx army to field Goreshade3, Lord of Ruin. He requires some different units to play, like Blackbanes which I'm already painting, and Soul Hunters which I need to buy.

I've been working on Superman a little more.

I think my main colour is going to be Prussian Blue (which is hopefully slightly lighter than that...). - I don't want to go for a super light blue Christopher Reeve Superman, but I don't want it to be as dark as he is at the moment. - That seems to be a bit too of a grim dark superman.

The suit in the most recent movie was pretty dark, no? Looks like a good start at any rate.

I managed to frost up my cabin when I sealed it =\ just in some patches..may be able to disguise it as moss/mold.

I ended up going for this:

I think I'm happy with that being my main colour I think. Now highlighting and figuring out how the heck I'm going to do the S.
