ITS HERE AND ITS GLORIOUS!!!!!! so the highly anticipated Fallout 4 is here and only after but a few hours of gameplay im very pleased with the overall experience. the biggest thing that caught my attention at E3 was the fact they said mods will be able to be played on XBox1. so heres my plea from someone in the moding community Please make a Warhammer 40k Mod for us i know many of us would rather be stepping into some Marine power armor rather than the T51B Iron Man prototype they have....Mutants? who need those when you could have Orks and in lieu of cushing mole rats how about curb stomping some Hormagaunts eh? I know you thought f it and im here on behalf of the 40K community thats kicking ass in Fallout right know give us that sweet sweet delicious grim dark a few millennia early please?

It looks identical to fallout 3.

The environment is prettier?

The combat certainly doesn't look to have changed at all.

well besides it looking prettier there are quite a few new things thrown in too keep if fresh, the crafting system is cool. have yet to get to the building settlements part yet. the combat has changed slightly now that VATS/Pip Boy isnt a pause button like it was. kinda like Deadspace you can use it but enemies will keep attacking you. the layered armor is a nice touch and being able to mix that up and customize it as well. The AI isnt nearly as buggy as it was in 3 they can actually do gak now, which is always good when your AI isnt just running into a wall glitching the game so you can continue missions now it knows to stop.... unf**k itself and get back on track. and i actually like the leveling system they have now, its kinda here upgrade this so you can do this which is meh, i kinda prefer the numerical pts in skills in 3 but its whatev.

what I cant understand is the people that expected something really good. Bethedsa has been releasing the same rehashed gak for like 8 years now.

as a casual gamer who plays to kill time i love it honestly you should play it yourself and make your own decision perhaps it will be on sale closer to Christmas....nothing irks me more than people who get onto and gak on a game and dont bother playing it because the read a bad review somewhere, not saying metacritic is bad source, just play it your self come to your own opinion on the game and if you still dont like thats ok. at least you tried it and giving Bethesda feedback is the best way to change future games.

and if you prefer Fallout 3 hey hey hey its coming to Xbox 1 in December i got a copy for free so im excited for that

Fallout 4 is a mess but a 40k mod of it could be fun. Imagine a post-apocalyptic Imperial planet garrisoned by a small squad of Space Marines who are the only method of restoring order. The mutants are Orks and there's Chaos Cultists/Rebels everywhere.

My Armies:
5,500pts
2,700pts
2,000pts

Aye. Fallout NV was Fallout 3.5, Skyrim a re-skinned Fallout and Fallout 4 is another version of Fallout 3 with better graphics and a more streamlined appearance. It's a good game, not more, not less. Not bad, but not outstanding either. I'd rate it 6.5/10 as of now and am certain that it will go up to a 8 or 9 out of 10 in half a year when mods are plentiful.

I agree the fallout 4 40k mod completely.

I feel a lot of people just listen to whatever the internet says. I think the game is wonderful, and sure it has issues but I've enjoyed it and its been worth my 60bucks by far.

There are several 40k mods for both FO3 and FONV, if you need a bolter-and-power armor fix.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.
