The campaign is live!

CoolMiniOrNot presents our new Campaign:

Arcadia Quest: Inferno builds upon the same basic gameplay as the original hit game, Arcadia Quest. Players control a Guild of 3 unique heroes as they fight their way through multiple branching scenarios of the campaign. Each scenario presents different quests that must be fulfilled in order to be victorious, and a wide variety of monsters for the Heroes to defeat! Since monsters react to the Heroes' actions, no one is stuck playing the role of game master.

As the heroes defeat enemies and accomplish quests, their guilds rake in the coins, which will then allow them to buy and equip new and powerful loot! This includes things like legendary weapons and armor, or new abilities and magic items. Combining each hero's unique ability with all the different upgrades they earn throughout the campaign allows players to create amazing and unexpected combos!

Arcadia Quest: Inferno is a standalone game, but also fully compatible with previous Arcadia Quest boxes. It contains a full campaign with 12 scenarios for players to explore. As players progress through the circles of Inferno, deeper and deeper into the Underworld, the campaign branches into two distinct paths. The path not taken results in quests the players will not fulfill, and possibly consequences that will come back to haunt them later.

Arcadia Quest: Inferno's brave Heroes!

Inferno's horde miniatures!

By backing Arcadia Quest: Inferno at the $100 Hell of a Pledge level you will receive a copy of Arcadia Quest: Inferno, the King David III Kickstarter Exclusive Hero and all applicable stretch goals we unlock during the campaign!

Save Arcadia from Inferno on
November 16th, 3PM EST.

I have been hearing fantastic things about the Blood Rage minis by CMON! But then I have been hearing the opposite about the B-Sieged minis. Could you give any insight into whether they are using multiple factories / etc, and which this would fall into? Regretting not getting in on Blood Rage a bit now, but didn't end up upping my B-Sieged placeholder pledge since the minis were not as impressive...

All that aside, best of luck here, I'm sure the campaign will kick butt and take names like most of CMON's do

We have not seen the bsieged minis yet. They are also of a cartoon style that blood rage was not. I own every zombicide, blood rage, aradiation quest, and rum and bones mini made so far; they are all fantastic if not the best single piece board game minis out there.

AQ gameplay is said to be great, but the minis are not my style. Everyone in the hero group looks so aaaangry. It looks greaton the jester, but a whole group of raging heroes would bum me out too much.

Blood Rage is amazing though (and Z:BP and TO:7 Sins hopefully as well) and I hope everyone getting in on this has great fun. Eric Lang is the man!

PS: BR minis really DO seem to be a large upgrade from Rum n Bones, the different style makes direct comparisons harder, though.

Looking for a Skaven Doomwheel banner to repair my Nurgle knights.

I have both blood rage and Rum, they are awesome minis.

What is the comparison with Super Dungeon Explore someone please? I was about to buy Forgotten king, but this looks good

Take a look on BGG. The games are actually very different.

SDE: "One vs. Many". Dungeon Master vs. Party.
AQ: "Player vs. Player".

Also, the AQ game designer, Eric Lang, has more experience than the game designers of SDE. He, in fact, is the game designer of Blood Rage, although I'd guess the games play differently?

I like the Inferno minis, but the heroes look a bit odd with the facial expressions. Too much open mouth/teeth showing for my taste, they look a bit maniacal. Every single model having angry eyebrows seems a bit much.

Definitely one to keep an eye on though, the value of the mini's in CMoN KS's are always excellent.

Where did you hear bad things about the B-Sieged miniatures?

I had high hopes for them!

For anyone who hasn't played Arcadia Quest, the game is fantastic. I bought into the first Kickstarter because I liked the minis, but then like most Kiskstarter rewards, they sat in my closet for a LONG time.

Fast forward to a couple of months ago and a friend mentioned that he like Super Dungeon Explorer, but didn't like some of the mechanics. I told him we could try Arcadia Quest since it looked sort of similar. Four of us gathered together around noon to play the first game in a 6 game campaign series. At around 2 in the morning, we finished the campaign.

I've been playing since and love it. I fully plan on dumping money into this Kickstarter. It's well worth the $100. Assuming there are add-ons, I've set aside $200 to back this.

The miniatures are all being produced at the same place! There are multiple sculptors used, and there's certainly an aesthetic difference between the Blood Rage models and the B*Sieged Models.

Here is one of the most recent photos of production miniatures from B*Sieged. I think they look quite good!

Sounds great!

Keep an eye on the CMON and Arcadia Quest social media sites as well! There may be a contest or two run during the campaign!

I have to say, those production B-Sieged minis look good to me!

I'll wait to see if they actually improve monster AI in this version. My biggest gripe was that the previous AQ was pretty much players sniping each other if possible and the monsters were basically spectators and way too passive.

I have to say, I have not seen a single CMoN mini which was produced by these KS where the final result was drastically poorer due to sloppy or cheap production.

Zombicide, AQ and Rum and Bones are amazing quality and shows that 'board game plastic' doesn't doom a game to have to expect crappy quality miniatures. Of all my worries, final mini quality from CMoN is not a worry I have.

I'll vouch for Arcadia as well. Really enjoyed it. Figure quality was really nice too.

I wouldn't mind more aggressive enemies, but games usually end up more about us ganking each other and wild swings of who's in the lead.

Any word on the Arcadia Quest Masmorra? Is that going to be part of this campaign, or a separate thing altogether?

I really want some straight up dungeon delving with Arcadia.

With the angry heroes, if the first campaign's giant pile of heroes is anything to go by, you shouldn't have any trouble finding some more calm looking heroes somewhere in the mix.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Masmora will not be part of the Arcadia Quest: Inferno campaign. It's really fun, however, and I can't wait until more people get to see it!

Additionally, Highlord Tamburlaine is most likely correct that you should have the opportunity to use a new hero or two by the end!

Hey CMoN_Organized_Play...

Have you guys ever considered Arcadia Quest Tournaments?

It seems like AQ would be perfect for tourney play, and something like poster-based play maps which basically have the entire board, monsters, and quests preprinted would make it easy to lay out a dozen table for a tourney.

I would love to see events where you could go play a bunch of rounds of AQ against a bunch of people and have prizes and such.

What an interesting and timely question!

I'm happy to report that the answer is a resounding YES!

In 2016 you will see a huge drive for more organized play for nearly all of the games in the CMoN Library! In fact, our Organized Play beta rules for both Rum & Bones and Blood Rage are complete!

For Arcadia Quest in particular, look for a tournament rule set with unique scenarios and suggestions for league play, with (hopefully) full game night and tournament kits!

We welcome feedback and player input on these! If you've got ideas or have interest in future organized play, don't hesitste to contact organizedplay@cmon.com and let us know!

And it is funded!

I'll go ahead an move that link up top! The war room was quite hectic during these first 15 minutes!

First Stretch Goal is already in the bag.

Embroidered dice bags at $115k. These are going to be of similar quality to those that came with Rue Morgue.

More to come!!

The $115k, $140k, and $165k, and $190k stretch goals have all be defeated!

If there are going to be 'fallen angels' I hope we get a second set for 'evil repaints' much how we got 'good repaints' for the monster heroes last campaign. Having dual fangs and nameless and their buddies helps out a bunch.

The expansion minis for B-sieged do look quite good - in looking back, it's the production proofs that didn't, and some of that may have been just the shine of the material. I'm looking forward to checking out the Blood Rage models in-person to see the results of CMoN's latest efforts myself!

I'm curious...what where the 'second sets'? A second set of pre-painted miniatures or just a second set to paint up however you liked? cheers.

The heroes and monsters are in different colors of plastic, but in the first campaign they included "hero versions" of the monster models in the hero plastic color and with character cards.

Guildmaster had a second of each of the following in HERO color plastic:
*Lord Fang
*Lydia (Sister of pain)
*Lilith (Sister of Pleasure)
*Sting (An Orc Captain)
*Bowie (A Goblin)
*Nameless
*Heartless
*All 4 Faceless
*Cthooloo

This meant you could play as the monsters as heroes without needing to sacrifice a monster model which would be needed for gameplay.

I assume it was done as once molds are made, it is easy to crank out 5000 extra sets in another color. So If there will be rules for 'angel baddies' I wouldn't mind a second model so I can paint light and dark versions of them like we did for AQ1

Those images make those tokens look deceptively big. The real tokens are super small and not much good for painting detail. They are probably on a 10mm base (not that I wouldn't love 25mm versions of them!!!)

The hero models are kind of growing on me.

What's the likelihood of additional monster types being added? I get that the game has a heavy PVP slant and that alternative sculpts have been unlocked for some of the monsters.

Thank for the pictures nkclesch
