CSM CAD
HQ- Daemon Prince of Nurgle. Wings, armor Black Mace. 3x mastery levels, ichor blood
HQ- Daemon Prince of Tzeentch. Wings, armor, Burning Brand, 3x mastery levels, gift mutation
TROOPS- 2x cultist tax
FAST ATTACK- Heldrake baleflamer

BLACK LEGION CAD

HQ- Belakor
HQ- Daemon Prince of Tzeentch. Wings, armor, Spineshiver Blade, 3x mastery levels, skull of Kregnar, last memory yuranthos, gift mutation.
TROOPS- 2x cultist tax

Both BL HQ's are eternal Warrior. Nurgle DP rolls Biomancy, Tzeentch DP's roll Telepathy. Heldrake burns stuff and drops to hover to cap objectives when Belakor makes it invisible. Belakor and Nurgle are jinking at 2+. Tzeentch DP's are hoping for shrouding to have re-rollable 2+ jinks. If th don't get they can stay close to Belakor. Burning brand Prince is staying high- burning and psykering. Other DP's are using their daemon weapons to throw out a ton of attacks.

I would take any melee weapons of of them. You don't want these guys on the ground.

H.B.M.C.- The end hath come! From now on armies will only consist of Astorath, Land Speeder Storms and Soul Grinders!
War Kitten- Vanden, you just taunted the Dank Lord Ezra. Prepare for seven years of fighting reality...
koooaei- Emperor: I envy your nipplehorns. <Magnus goes red. Permanently>
Neronoxx- If our Dreadnought doesn't have sick scuplted abs, we riot.
Frazzled- I don't generally call anyone by a term other than "sir" "maam" "youn g lady" "young man" or " HEY bag!"
Ruin- It's official, we've ran out of things to talk about on Dakka. Close the site. We're done.

Steve steveson- To be clear, I'd sell you all out for a bottle of scotch and a mid priced hooker.

Nurgle Prince jinks on a 2+ because he is shrouded. Same with Belakor. If Tzeentch Prince gets shrouding, it will be re-rollable 2+. I'm also guaranteed Invisibility w/ Belakor. Flying Monstrous Creatures can Jink in gliding mode. The Princes with Daemon weapons have possibility of 12 attacks on charge- the Nurgle DP has potential for 15 if he rolls warp speed. Or 13 S9 if he rolls iron arm. I want those guys in combat shredding enemy units... If they get locked up, at least they can't get shot... There's not much that will last more than a round.

Just a thought, but swap the BL CAD for a Daemons allied detachment.

Keep Belakor, run Tz DP as heavy support

Drop ichor blood and gift of mutation from everyone, lose the burning brand (rely on phychic, you'll be in HtH alot anyway).

Take 2 greater rewards and a lesser to trade the spineshiver blade for a str8 staff and 2 rolls that are better than the Skull. Or take an exalted reward to play bring a grimoire, which generally you should if you can. It tends to make at least one DP invincible per turn, for 2-3 turns minimum.

Also lets you run a nurgling pack and a horror pack as troops, which gives you a few more dice and lets you summon to counteract the smaller model count. Better than 2 more useless cultist units. Your at 40 models doing nothing.

If you are playing kill points sure this could maybe work. You cant rely on cover saves. Marker lights on tau will ruin your day. Furthermore, TH/SS terminators will wreck face against DP's. If you are playing missions with objectives this list isnt going to do much.

AdMech doesn't care, you'll get eradicated by gravs (if you took armor), plasma spam, and double wounding rifles from units that reduce cover saves by 1. In fact, I've seen Be'lakor and a Nurgle prince die turn one to them despite Be'lakor being invisible. Heck, I've seen an invisible 2+ jinking DP die from Overwatch to Vanguard from full health. Remember that it's only a 1 in 6 chance of avoiding the wound so if your enemy throws 18 shots your way, you're dead anyway. Wolfguard with Flamers in a drop pod can destroy even your Tzeentch Shrouded DP turn 1 and considering how effective it is against pretty much any blob of anything in cover you'll be seeing that often against Wolves.

The advantage of Flying Circus formations is to actually be FLYING. If you're on the ground relying on Jink, you're going to die. As the others said, get rid of the melee weapons and stay in the sky with magic powers.

It's called a thick skin. The Jersey born have it innately.

Drop the burning brand, since you cant use it after you jink.

Burning Brand is there for ignore cover (along with the Heldrake) to hurt biker armies. While I do plan on using Jink- I'm not relying on it too much. That's why they have armor. Jink is for those Grav guns. I know that Tau will ruin my day. I also know that an allied daemon detachment will be better- I should have mentioned that my main aim with this list is to have a pure CSM army being as competetive as possible (without having to drop a ton of cash on FW Fire Raptors)

I am thinking that I should probably use malefic instead of telepathy on the flying Burning Brand Prince to make up for lack of bodies. If I'm lucky I will be able to sacrifice some of those useless objective camper cultists for some heralds... Otherwise it is just horrors for more summoning and WCs.

The thing is this is non comp. What is going to be grabbing objectives etc? You have four garbage obsec units that can be shot off the board by almost anything.

Ah yes, because anyone is going to waste firepower on cultists. No, they will shoot the DP's

They will shoot something that will get the free points/can contest an objective. Just trying to be helpful. Eldar jetbike spam waffles this list in addition to Tau, Necrons as well.

Yeah while this list is a very neat attempt at flying circus, I feel it is not a competitive attempt. Flying Circus needs to primarily be done by CD, you need that summoning and heavy choice DP's. One of the largest downfalls of this list is you are relying on 4 things to clean up a board....they might kill 2-3 units in one turn but alot will just tie them up, kill off cultists, then score and win. Sure other Flying circus list have 5-6 flyers but they also have summoning, they understand that the big guys will tie things up and let the small guys score or summon more. Cultists can score sure but they also have poor saves, cant summon, dont make warp charges, and horrible shooting. As I see this list, the attempt is noble but it is just coming up lacking.

I would sign this contract but I already ate the potato
