Hi Folks,

after a recent thread here in the gen discussion forum, I've decided to begin building War Gamr - a website (and eventually app) that will allow you to register anonymously and securely, create a profile of the games you play and the armies you field, as well as other relevant information, and eventually - find other gamers in your area. I've started this post to discuss what the community would want from this app. So please, all ideas are welcome (though some may not be implemented) - tell me what you'd want in a tindr style player finder?

A list of clubs for different areas would be handy. I personally wouldn't use it to find individuals, I'd go to a safe communal gaming club and get to know people there - but finding a good club can be tricky (This is just me though)

TLDR A club finder with associated games played would be super handy

Thousand Sons: 3850pts / Space Marines Deathwatch 5000pts / Dark Eldar Webway Corsairs 2000pts / Scrapheap Challenged Orks 1500pts / Black Death 1500pts

Saga: (Vikings, Normans, Anglo Danes, Irish, Scots, Late Romans, Huns and Anglo Saxons), Lion Rampant, Ronin: (Bushi x2, Sohei), Frostgrave: (Enchanter, Thaumaturge, Illusionist)

User Review: I used this app and while I had a great time, it was difficult to explain to the doctors how that Wraith Knight got lodged up there. I'd give it a 6.3 out of 10.

I'll pluck you like a flower.

Sounds like you really wanted the D.

OP, I'd use this. Especially if there was a feature to narrow by free time slots this week.

For others struggling to find local gaming groups, I just started using meetup.com and have already found three different active ones in my area.

I'd try it, my FLGS does 40k on Friday nights which is kinda a pain for me. So having an alternative way to meet folks and sync up would be good.

Im torn between whether a player rating system would work in this i.e whether the player was fun and friendly or not. Obviously the embittered and spiteful could negovote the crap out of you but it would be cool to be able to filter by a rating to find people that are genuninely interested in fun games.
Dunno.
