The more I look at the wulfen models the less I see a wolf/space marine hybrid but more of the remains of chaos torturing space wolves till they gave in to chaos. I really like the idea of their minds having being devolved to a primal state and for that reason I'm going to run them as spawn escorting my sorcerer on a disk. I just can't decide to change their colour scheme to that of my night Lords or to leave it as space wolves

I don't know about the current fluff but in the old Eye of Terror, Wulfen were basically feral and had to be guided by a rune priest into battle or they just run off leeroy jenkins-ing everything. They were also incapable of using weapons beyond basic melee tools and pistols.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

Yeah, that's why they look so silly running around with melee weapons now... :/

Oh I know their fluff, just these models aren't what my minds eye saw when I read about them. They strike me more as the pale remnants of what was once a proud space wolf, and I like the idea they were tortured into this form
