I got a bunch of Necrons for my birthday this year from my family (I was totally shocked, both at the gift and that it was a really good force) and am finally getting around to putting a force together with them. I'm trying to figure out how to spend the rest of the points, though - especially with regards to transports. I'd like to add Lychguard, too, just not sure if it's viable. Here's what I've got, totaling about points before upgrades, looking to hit 1000 points:

Total points: 718

Reclamation Legion - 479 points
Necron Overlord
2x 10-man units of Warriors
1x 5-man unit of Immortals
1x 3-man unit of Tomb Blades

Canoptek Harvest - 239 Points
1 Spyder
3 Wraiths (with whip coils)
3 Scarabs

Lychguard are very viable. I run a squad of five with Swords and Shields as an escort to my Overlord and they're ridiculously tough and do just enough damage that they can't be ignored. However, they need a Night Scythe. That will put you at 998 points.
