This situation just came up and cant find the answer.

Blightkings can do d6 damage if they roll 6s on hits. they normally do 1. full attack netted 6 normal hits and 4 d6 damage hits.

I made 6 of my saves.

What order do we removed hits, do i cancel the d6 damage dice first, or the 1 damage dice, or is it up to one or the other.

Or am i 100% incorrect in how im viewing wound allocation and the combat phase?

Thanks for the help!

Check that warscroll again. Blightkings, when rolling a 6 to hit, do D6 hits, not D6 damage. Then resolve wounds as normal, which cause their damage for any unsaved wound.

Also if an attack does say 3 damage, you only roll one save against that attack, so if it did do d6 damage per attack it would be one save per attack. (As I have come to understand it) As for in what order to resolve them, that is your call as the defending player.

I would sign this contract but I already ate the potato

Holy crap, your totally right, 100% over looked. Thanks!

And also good to know, answered two different questions I had in one shot, thanks!

I'd handle it the same way you would with say special weapons in 40k - e.g. you'd roll saves separately for different attack types. So you'd roll D2 saves separately to D1 saves even if caused by the same model.
Especially important if you have attacks that gain a point of rend on a 6 to hit, for example.
