Good Morning Everyone!

Some of you may have seen or taken part in a poll a while back a local guy here in Winnipeg, MB did on the state of 40k.

After about a month of real life Alex and Jamie were able to complete the poll and get it looking all purdy!

Below is the link to the results!

I saw this yesterday, and I'm really happy you guys put this together. None of the results are that surprising to me, but it's reassuring to see them all compiled all nice and purdy like.

Check out my Youtube channel!

Ya, for the most part the results were not a surprise but we hope to do this again in maybe 6 months to a year from now and see if the opinions have changed at all based on the way GW has been operating.

I think that will be when it becomes interesting.

This is basically the concensus we all know but it's great to see someone actually compiling it as a point of reference. At least now I got something to point to when a white knight shows up and says any criticism is just one dude being loud.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

On B&C, people criticized this survey for having a small sample size, haha White Knights will always bring the Shields of Bad Faith.

It does have a ridiculously small sample size. One thousand people is statistically irrelevant for a group consisting of several million.

Thing is, that sample size is almost entirely made up of people who go on forums like dakka. That's why it's statistically pointless - the only people who ever see it are the same people who filled it in in the first place, after having been discussing the results for days before actually answering the survey.

I still find it amusing that the vast majority of people who said that Sisters are the weakest army are people who don't play Sisters.

Very interesting.

INSANE army lists still available!!!! Now being written in 8th edition format! I have Index Imperium 1, Index Imperium 2, Index Xenos 2, Codex Orks Codex Tyranids, Codex Blood Angels and Codex Space Marines!
PM me for an INSANE (100K+ points) if you desire.

skimmed through it cool info but keep in mind that it may not accurately represent the actual WH population as probably only more 'internet savvy' or 'diehard wh' fans tend to visit and complete surveys on forums

some very interesting bits in there, nonetheless

It's a statistically valid sample of a population of several million assuming 95% confidence level and 5% interval.

Where it's lacking is that the respondents are self-selecting, and chosen from the forum active on-line community, meaning it probably doesn't represent the general 40K war gamer population.

That doesn't make it invalid providing you consider the results with the above factors in mind.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.
