Subject: Where's the AdMech??

There were all these rumors a few months back about april-may being admech and there were even pics of FW upgrades for skitarii with quotes from people who had been very reliable in the past. I'm just getting antsy. Has anyone heard anything? It doesn't seem like its going to happen.

The FW-upgrades are early WIPs. They still need some work.
Nobody knows, when the 40k-stuff will show up. Maybe in a campaignbook, maybe a codex, maybe never, as much of the models in the past. Who knows.

I'm waiting with bated breath for some new Cult Mechanicus/Skitarii releases as well. I love both codexes and have partly planned out my purchases but having a complete lack of transports, skimmers and flyers is holding me back for now. Not so keen on borrowing drop pods, Rhinos etc as a necessity if I want to mount the squishy robo-men. Hopefully an update won't be too far down the road!

I agree completely. I'm just waiting for them to get that extra kick they need to be a full fledged army. It's so frustrating because I'm actively preparing for it financially and curtailing my other purchases so that I can make some splurges when the new stuff is released. It just feels like forever. I know the FW stuff was in he works but there was a flyer and a couple more robots that had solid rumormongers behind them as well so I'm just waiting with bated breath. Hopefully this new flyer phase means that doctors without flyers will be getting one so maybe there's hope.

I'd love some tiny flier for a squadron. Something the size of bikes, but flying.

I never took that rumor too seriously. the idea that GW'd release a "all in one" admech codex shortly after seemed unlikely.
